awww it had to happen eventually, but still 5 weeks on top is pretty fine for Gold :)

 

I almost charted Kelly Clarkson last week, she's never quite made my chart with Underneath The Tree, but it sounds better each Xmas. It must be a slow grower!

 

Not heard the Katy Perry newie :o Jess Glynne is another Xmas song I almost charted, it's very nice, but I'm miffed I can't download it on itunes :lol:

 

Ariana & The Rose did very well didn't she?! :cheer:

 

So will the Xmas songs go week after next is the question - there's nothing so Last Year than a Xmas song after New Year's Day :lol:

Hmmm. I think it could take the #1 again on Wednesday. It's really high up just now.

That's disappointing about Underneath The Tree. We were listening to Christmas music in work today and it came on and my best friend there, turned around and said it was her favourite Xmas song and i was like... ME TOO!! it's so amazing!

Katie Perry's new track is amazing. She also just released another new single :o Two sings in two weeks :o

I wasn't a fan of 'This Christmas' at all to begin with, so I'd maybe give it a few listens.

I'm not sure if they will go straight away. Looking at my last chart around Xmas they took two weeks to drop out. I think next year for definite, I'm gonna chart some classics!

interesting to see Nathan and Little Mix make their way to #3 in the chart already! It has to be my fave of Nathan's songs so far as I didn't like Flowers and wasn't fussed on Lighter, but is still only in the bottom half of my chart at the moment.

Get Out My Head is sadly a bit too generic even for my taste, I tried getting into it but there's just more interesting dance songs out there for me. Perhaps it'll re-grow in the new year but don't see it making my top 40 ever.

KSI still on the rise too, quite the turnaround here.
