Alfa Romeo driver Kimi Raikkonen says he is fit to return to racing at the Russian Grand Prix.

The 41-year-old Finn, who is retiring from Formula 1 at the end of the season, missed the Dutch and Italian races after contracting coronavirus.

"I am all good. See you at the next GP," he posted on Instagram on Monday.

Flipping heck, I remember that crash, I'm baffled why sausage kerbs are still used, I fear they'll be another serious crash like this again.

Very glad that Hamilton was unhurt following that crash, that tyre was far too close for comfort. I'm sort of in the fence regarding who is to blame for the crash. Why try and reverse Lewis when Max could have still been in the car although yes he couldn't have seen Max got out of the car. I don't think this will be the last time this season that Lewis and Max will clash.

Fantastic win for Daniel Ricciardo, a much needed result for him. He looked a different driver to how he was earlier in the season.

Bloody hell. I’m shocked that this was 2 years ago and they’re still in wide use

I remember that F3 crash, came just a week after Hubert's tragic accident.

Still jaw-dropping at just how far off the ground that car reached.

Perhaps not the correct thread for this post but the Schumacher documentary is up on Netflix now and...

...it's a bit disappointing to be honest. If you're old enough to remember his career you won't learn anything here and whilst there's a couple of interesting anecdotes (Corinna's night on the toilet for example) you'll not learn much new about his personal life either - and I'm still talking about back then because it was made clear there was never going to be anything about his current situation in the film.

Is it worth watching? Of course, as the most important driver of the last 25 years (at least) it's always welcoming to be reminded of him but it's light on detailing his racecraft, skims over his more controversial moments and leaves you wanting to know more about the man away from the track too. Maybe that's the point, it is after all a love letter from his family and there are geninely touching moments from Corinna and Mick towards the end.

A missed opportunity but a welcome distraction all the same

There's a possibility the Monaco GP's world feed could be directed by FOM from next year (FOM have also got them to move to the standard Friday-Saturday-Sunday schedule next year):
German language reports have Haas confirming to the TV channel RTL that both drivers are staying put. So no Mick to AlfaSauber then

Saudi Arabia moving to the front? Bizarre. Also weird to have the 2 American races so far apart, although I guess that happened with the European GP & Spanish/German ones back in the day. Australian in April seems very ambitious too!

I dunno but there’s something about that calendar that annoys me. Maybe is the sheer number of bad circuits. I wish they’d taken note of the lessons from the pandemic season and actually gone forward with the circuits that provided good races

Haas have now confirmed this

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Hamilton take on a new engine this weekend.

The Merc should be capable of scything through the field in a way the Red Bull simply can't. Lewis would be able to cut into Max's lead still. Taking it a another circuit would mean that Max would just take the advantage back when he does have to take a new engine later.

It's risky but worth thinking about.

He’d still start ahead of Max because of the 3 place drop. This is a Merc track and Bottas can back up the field to allow Lewis through. It’s make sense
The idea of both Lewis & Max starting at the back is pretty tasty and would certainly make Sochi interesting for once but definitely can't see it here. Imagine Merc are after a relatively stress-free race to get those points on the board and not worry about Max who may even trip up over someone in the midfield.
