And... the return to the top for an album! Not the most exciting of changes but both are very well deserving of their spots. The Kid LAROI became a bit of a dark horse towards the end of the year with 'SO DONE' rising quickly to the top of my chart and now it seems his follow-up single 'WITHOUT YOU' is on it's way to the peak also. Perhaps an artist to look out for in 2021 - Mallrat scores silver this week with 'Rockstar' becoming her highest peaking hit on my chart with her only other top 40 single being 'Groceries' which peaked at #10 around two years ago in 2019. Now it's 2021 and our first #10 peaker is AJR's 'Bang' which happens to also be their first entry in my chart however I am a fan of some of their older singles ala 'Weak' and 'Sober Up' which were before my charts inception. Ball Park Music return to the top 10 with 'Cherub', their third top 10 hit following 'Day & Age' and 'Spark Up!'. The rise of this single which is quickly becoming a 2020-2021 favourite of mine also boosts their self-titled album back up to #1. The album chart is generally quite quiet otherwise with the only new entry being Miley Cyrus' 'Plastic Hearts' album entering at #7. I'm listening to this for the very first time now and it will almost certainly rise. 'Midnight Sky' was a very slow burner for me and ended up with a rather average peak in the top 30 whilst it would likely be a top 5 hit for me if it's affection all hit at the same time! Oh well, the titular track could very well enter the chart next week! One single song enters the chart this weeks and it is Justin Bieber's new single 'Anyone'. It could grow although so far it's not as impressive as 'Holy' was at first. Hopefully some more new releases come in the next couple of weeks, I'm over this new music drought!

January 6, 20214 yr Hey Dexton! I've legit only just heard Without you, and preparing it for my chart next week, so I'll give this song a listen soon. I was pleasantly surprised by Without You though. Regardless falling the one place. I'd love to see it climb again, especially since I haven't even charted it yet :lol: I see Harry has a new single out and I've not charted Golden yet either :lol: some of the songs for my chart are really behind! I do have 10 new songs entering on the 13th though, so that should elleviate some of the backlog. Afterglow is actually pretty decent, albeit it's still sound more or less the same as his usual. I'm surprised at the lack of change in his musical style after so long in all honesty. ACH no, Willow falling. What is happening grr. On the other hand I'm thrilled to see Anyone enter! Love that new Bieber song, I really thought I was done with him when he put out that awful 'Yummy' last year but literally everything he's put out since then has been great! 'Anyone' is such a tune, I really hope it can challenge for official number one soon (though I'm guessing Ed Sheeran will be hogging the top spot for the next few weeks so I'd be happy with #2!)
