I'm not sure what to make of this tbh. I used to think it sounded dreadful, but she's not out of tune or anything, just REALLY nervous. May It Be is one of the hardest songs to sing live...

I thought it was wonderful..I could tell she was nervous, I give her props.

I had to go for a walk round the block after watching this for the first time....just to walk off the cringe. I thought it was utterly dreadful. However, like David, I feel a bit kinder towards it now and just think she was very very nervous.

 

I have to say...everything seems wrong though. The hair, the dress, the performance. It just seems so uptight.

I'd agree with the last part - her dress is horrible in particular. Whoever chose that needs shooting! :arrr:

Well, I like her dress, but not for the occasion. It's very pretty and would be nice somewhere else, but to me it looks too much like a coat for a special occasion like the Oscars. I thought she wore a red dress with a diamond necklace... :huh: At least, that's what I've seen in other pictures. :unsure:

As for the singing part, I think she sounds good. Her voice is shaking, but her timing is right and she hits all the notes very well. :wub:

I agree about the timing part. ^_^ I used to think she was going too fast, but she isn't. :D
