January 21, 20214 yr Speaking Veronica Green being eliminated into existence x it's definitely not happening tonight, this is literally her challenge to excel in! Also having looked back on it, she really wasn't that bad in the first runways at all! Just a mellower person but still did well! For me Sister Sister was the weakest on reflection and I wouldn't have been so sad to see her go.

I see Tia slaying it this week- she knows how to perform and I’m fairly sure she’s a singer isn’t she?
January 21, 20214 yr Author Tia is a singer yeah so on paper you'd expect her or Veronica to do well! But I think it depends because sometimes the singers can take Rusicals etc. a bit seriously so it could depend on that. I think it will be the more looks based queens like A'Whora and Ellie who might struggle here but I guess we've not had a chance to see everyone perform so you don't really know who's got that in them yet!!
January 21, 20214 yr Ready for Rats to be a better musical than Cats! Expecting Tia and Veronica to do well in this but there's usually one "I'm a PROFESSIONAL dancer/singer/actress" who fails to live up to expectations and ends up in the bottom three so maybe that's the twist for this week?

January 21, 20214 yr Was worried Tia was gonna take it from Veronica but WOW both were fab!!! Ellie definitely deserved her place in the top as well and Bimini and Sister Sister both did great too I thought. Sad to see Cherry go she seemed sweet but I don’t know how much longer she would have lasted anyway- Tayce’s lipsync was STUNNING
January 21, 20214 yr Meh, pretty sad at that result as I feel like Cherry would have had a lot more to give. :( Saw it coming though the moment her, Lawrence and Tayce were all stood there. I honestly cannot stand Tia Kofi though. She was unbearable through that whole episode for me. A'Whora on the other hand was killing me throughout :rofl: was living for her, and Asttina delivering again *.* and that runway look, phew!! Veronica really proved herself this week too after being an extremely damp squib last week - the runway was amazing, she was great in the challenge, so here's hoping it wasn't a fluke and she can be as interesting as this every week going forward.
January 21, 20214 yr That was a great episode, they all performed well and the runways overall already feel like a step up from season 1! The writing of the Rusical was the best in a while as well I think My only huh moment was Ellie being top 3, she forgot her words at one point (I think she was the only one to do so) and the fact that Tayce was in the B2 when they performed pretty similar was confusing to me. I get Ellie's runway was better but idk if it was SO much better than Tayce's that it warrants such a gap in placements. I think A'Whora and Bimini had 2 of the best performances but Bimini deserved just safe for her runway (good idea but it obviously didn't work) Also very weird but interesting lip-sync song choice, Tayce performed it really well Edited January 21, 20214 yr by LMLou
January 21, 20214 yr Author Loved the Rusical, really fun and like a fever dream but hey that's the bizarreness we need nowadays. Can't argue with Veronica winning, however I can't fully take to her for some reason. I enjoyed Tia more in the Rusical tbh but that runway was unforgivable, you could never let someone win a challege looking like that :lol: I think Ellie's Rusical was great too and she was by far my fave runway, a bit more of a muted personality that what I'd usually stan but she's not put a foot wrong for me so far. I loved Bimini and A'whora's part of the Rusical too, I'd have placed Bimini high had her runway concept worked because I bet that would have been stunning, it's such a shame it didn't work :( I think the bottom 2 was about right, Cherry really faded into the background, I think she was too focused on getting it "right" and showing she can perform, so much so she sucked most of the fun and personality out of it. Her runway was cute but not enough to save her there. I think Tayce was fine in the Rusical tbh, but the runway was pretty bad, and her performance wasn't so great that it would save her. They all did pretty well in the, nobody was TERRIBLE so it came down to smaller things. I thought Tayce did amazingly in what was an odd lipsync choice, not her kind of song I'd have thought but that's what lipsyncing for your life is about, feeling the song and turning it out anyway. A'whora I can see turning into a bit of a villain, I'm certainly struggling to like her when she is constantly making little shit stirry comments.

January 21, 20214 yr I agree with the judges this week sadly who the bottom two was. Tia was really lucky she did so good in the challenge because she woulda been sent home if in bottom two. Also, did anyone notice how weird it was for sister sister to come for lawernece randomly after giving her amazing advice last week??

I can see her getting quite far tbh- maybe not final but a Blu Hydrangea kinda run maybe she forgot her words and was kinda clunky in the performance i thought? and her runway was not nearly as good as they made out! for me the judging was drag race canada level of off this week, woulda had: TOP veronica, bimini, ginny (or even a'whora) BTM ellie, lawrence, cherry (but not btm2)
January 21, 20214 yr An ok episode. I did think Cherry was going to be good but the right decision she went. Thought Ellie was weak this week but not near the bottom?! Assume this was because the bottom 3 were an obvious bottom 3 Tia gave a great performance but where are the looks?! Love that Veronica won? Still don’t think she will get anywhere near the final but good for her
