So does the 52 week rule mean the Pogues could well re-enter the Top 40 and climb reasonably high, but be deleted the week before Christmas???

Also, I'm surprised how low the Scissor Sisters have charted, even if it is just downloads :o

According to James Masterson's Commentary it still has 2 weeks left under the 52 chart rule, after that I'm assuming it will get deleted.

Moved up to 85, so the broadcast did help a bit,,,

Will any other past Christmas songs be eligible for the chart in the next few weeks?

From the 1st of January any Xmas track or old track such as an old track from the 80s The Police - Message In A Bottle are all included in the chart as well as Album tracks.

I think they should have one chart only now and call it The Tracks Chart

I can't wait till I see this in practice from 1st January, and see what tracks surfaces in the chart, but I can't see many old tracks coming in Top 40, as they won't get downloaded that often, but they probably be lingering in the bottom half of the top 200.
