not yet officially released but people reckon this could be a lead single for another album or ep!

I LOVE IT (no surprises there) but I think I like it even more than a lot of the PFA tracks :o

Really like this! Compared with everything on PFA it's pretty much in the middle for me, but I like the darker feel to it - fits with some theories I've heard that it'll be a sort of 'prequel record' to PFA.

Hopefully the video getting copyright striked means it's getting a proper release pretty soon?

Yea I'd seen on Twitter that people reckon we'll be getting a release soon, I hope so as it's a really good track
Flowers For Vases / Descansos is the title of Hayley's upcoming album, which will be out this Friday. It will have 14 songs, including "My Limb".

:o dropping a whole album without a pre-release single (the leak aside), quite a contrast to the painfully drawn out last era

Excited!

Omg an entire album?! EXCUSE ME :drama:

The leak was purposeful I'm sure but obviously it's since been taken down, 14 songs is a lot but if they're in the same realm as my limb I'm buzzing!

I'd seen the flowers for vases stuff on twitter but figured at best it would be an ep since we've not long had a full album from her

I can't seem to see anything confirming this on twitter tho??

omg this album is so sad but it's stunning  very acoustic-y with a lot of piano but that makes sense when she recorded it at home alone. my limb and just a lover are definitely the stand outs for me
This took me a couple of listens to fully appreciate and make sense of it, but now I can say it's incredible. My favourites are My Limb, Trigger, Over Those Hills and Just A Lover, plus the new version of Find Me Here is a real highlight too, it feels like I'm listening to a cover of a well-known old song.
Wow this was really quite vulnerable! I know Hayley has been through a lot in the public eye alone but I still didn't anticipate how open and sad this would be. The lyrics of 'Good Grief' particularly stood out to me from the word go - that was a difficult picture to paint. Other highlights included 'Asystole', 'KYRH', 'Trigger', Just A Lover' and 'My Limb' - which is already growing on me a lot since yesterday. That and 'Find Me Here' broke up the feel of the album a bit sonically - the latter felt quite plucky following a melancholic piano song. The heightened guitars on 'Just A Lover' act as the big finish too but the album is generally a constant stream of sparse but beautiful instrumentation. I liked the vocal production throughout too and how it was a bit jittery in places, really exemplifying the anxiety felt. I think I'll need a few more listens with this for the words and flourishes to settle properly but for now I'm enjoying. It feels like an Autumn/Winter type record in that 'folklore' kind of way, although more sonically as the storytelling is completely different from that. Cohesively cosy without a 'Sugar On The Rim' banger in sight  I hope this will get a proper physical release at some point. My grey 'Petals For Armor' vinyl is lovely and I think my wish for this one would be a plum type colour.
As much as I want to love this I just can't really get into it as much as I did Petals For Armour :(
