Found two charts from 2000 which both have 7 dance songs in the top 10 if you count Mousse T and Tom Jones Sex Bomb

I would count 8 in those charts as would include Bloodhound Gang'sThe Bad Touch as dance. Certainly as much as Sex Bomb.

They both have dance influences, but I wouldn't categorise either The Bad Touch or Sex Bomb as Dance. They'd certainly not have had discussion threads in the dance forum anyhow.
The Bad Touch definitely not dance

Let's not get bogged down in what is and isn't a dance track. The Bad Touch certainly draws on some dance elements in its production; it's not exactly an out and out genre of anything in particular.

I personally would put 'Wellerman', even the remix version, much more in the novelty pop category than dance. Although I have read the Dance No.1 threads here and know that several of the songs caused discussion!

Sex Bomb has Mousse T credited on it though so that's why I was thinking it might get categorised as dance, I agree it's not as dancey as many of his other tracks though.

The Bad Touch instrumental is quite Pet Shop Boys-eque in style I think, so it is sort of between synthpop and and dance like the Pet Shop Boys are. The Bloodhound Gang are not primarily dance producers though.

1. Get Out My Head

2. Goosebumps

3. The Business

4. Wellerman

5. Don't Play

6. Paradise

7. Friday :puke2:

I like them all to varying degrees except that last horror.

To say 'The Business' contains "zero cheese" is LUDICROUS. It is fairly cheesy, c'mon.

Isn't it vaguely "dancey" because Eiffel 65 actually produced the main version?
