David Gray - Skellig

without much fanfare, David Gray is back with a new album called Skellig.

His days of selling 3 million albums are long long gone but he still can produce high quality beautiful music.

Really surprised at how much under the radar he's gone, he doesn't even seem to be on a big label anymore

this was out on Friday but not on physicals yet so I don't think he'll do much... it's a pity cos it's a beautiful album and a return to form.

the 2 songs that preceded the album (Skellig the title track and Heart & Soul) are excellent

and the album also includes Accumulates, which is a sorta fan favourite that he's been playing live for a while but not released until now
