Posted April 5, 200619 yr hearing the news that gene pitney had died half way into his tour, one of the guys from the office said that he nearly bought tickets for him and his wife to go and she the show. i was wondering has anyone else got tickets for a performer (or a band like nirvana) and seen them on their last ever tour, or not have seen them as the performer dies before the dates? if the later what happened to the tickets/show? was their a tribute evening?

April 5, 200619 yr It's never happened to me either, a bit tasteless to flog tickets to earn a fast buck from someone's death though I think............ :( Edited April 5, 200619 yr by Mark Leech
April 5, 200619 yr It almost makes you want to go buy a Rolling Stones ticket, doesn't it? I mean, SOMETHING monetary would have to entice me to do something as rash.... :P
