I am happy to see Somebody Told Me by The Killers at number one. It's one of my favourite songs from 2004

So these are the songs that scored the most points in the first round. Blue Monday was the most popular with Missing finishing 2nd as it did in the final. Our winner Somebody Told Me was 4th while there is no sign of Physical which only scored 129 points.

Really enjoyed this thread. Superbly strong top 15 in the final rate. Thanks also for posting the earlier round votes under the different voting system - I'd been wondering how different they'd be (less than I expected, it turns out)

I stand by my comment at the time. I've never disliked the song, I've always thought it was just 'alright' but its use in Stranger Things has made me appreciate it a lot more.
