Our lovely Royal Family! Ver topical given everything that’s happening recently but the thing I wanted you to notice was that Princess Anne was holding a nice big pair of scissors – thus the ‘Princess Cuts’! I was greatly amused by the number of people who guessed ‘Royals’ by Lorde – 11 in total – presumably they were all just guesses but I do enjoy the thought that you all assumed I’d stuck their heads on cliparts of children for no apparent reason :lol: Pink’s ‘Family Portrait’ pps up for a second question here as well.

Would never have got Princess Cuts... I knew Royals wasn't completely right given the cartoon kids but I couldn't think of anything else!

Ah that is a great clue indeed! I knew it wouldn't be Royals but that it would provide some points!

Small Wood = Grove, the one next to the boy is broken, hence ‘Ladbroke Grove’. I was surprised at how many people got this one but I suppose the ‘small wood’ bit was a bit too much of a giveaway. A few random guesses again here – that Snow Patrol song was in fact the first song I ever downloaded so I do have a fondness for it, however it’s got nothing to do with the clue sadly so gets no points.

I'm also surprised that so many people got Ladbroke Grove there, also nice to see someone go for Breaking The Habit and getting a point for it too, what a tune :wub:

Sweet + Carol Vorderman + Line = Sweet Caroline! I would assume for most people the ‘Sweet’ and ‘Line’ bits were more gettable than the ‘Carol’ and people just filled in the blanks, but I did quite enjoy putting this one together. A couple of other ‘Sweet’ related guesses, including ‘Sweet Love’ for which no artist was specified and I’m not going to guess which of the many ‘Sweet Love’s you were referring to!

 

Ladbroke Grove took me forever to get.

The most lyrically complex title I attempted appears here, the word ‘You’ is only calling the word ‘Me’ when it’s high up. Couple that with a question mark, and you get ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High’! Another with quite a range of answers, Don’t Call Me Up was quite a good one minus the question mark, and an array of you/me related answers pick up small points.

Oh that makes so much sense now!

I think that was my favourite one, and the last one I got :D

Another one took me ages to get, but very pleasing when it finally clicked!
