March 11, 20214 yr I've been obsessed with 'When A Woman' since her stint on the Masked Singer, it's so feel-good and uplifting.
March 11, 20214 yr I thought a million sales might have been out of reach for Dreams, even though it's a decent song. Loved her on the Masked Singer. She was the best selling British solo female singer on the singles chart in the 90's and deservedly so. Edited March 11, 20214 yr by fiesta

March 11, 20214 yr Its sales have continued to rise One might even say she don't need the sun to shine (to sell more copies).
March 11, 20214 yr One might even say she don't need the sun to shine (to sell more copies). When a woman with a voice as good as hers sings maybe it's not surprising Edited March 11, 20214 yr by fiesta
March 11, 20214 yr Her latest release being set to get a potential top five position for the first time since 2001 shows us that small things like appearing on a popular TV show can really help if you ever want a minor career revival.
March 11, 20214 yr I'm not familiar enough with her discography to know if that was continuing the pun train or not xx
March 11, 20214 yr I'm not familiar enough with her discography to know if that was continuing the pun train or not xx Surely you're familiar enough with If You Ever considering it was in a recent AF Idol round  (admittedly it was tucked away in an unnecessarily long sentence)
March 11, 20214 yr Surely you're familiar enough with If You Ever considering it was in a recent AF Idol round  (admittedly it was tucked away in an unnecessarily long sentence) I'm sure Bre would have got that in the end, all you had to do was give him a little more time Edited March 11, 20214 yr by Mangø
March 12, 20214 yr Surely you're familiar enough with If You Ever considering it was in a recent AF Idol round  (admittedly it was tucked away in an unnecessarily long sentence) Omg me exposed. (in my defence that's a rather generic phrase to make a pun from  that and basically all of the Gabrielle songs in AF Idol have been in one ear and straight out of the other for me)
March 12, 20214 yr These puns  I'm not very good with puns so I will walk on by and leave it to the pros x
March 12, 20214 yr I Wish I hadn't started this pun thing now  Edited March 12, 20214 yr by fiesta
March 12, 20214 yr Gabrielle fans please take part in the Artist Idol Forum 2.0. 'Sunshine' is representing Gabrielle this round. Af Idol Round 6 Click on the link above or at the bottom of my sig, so Gabs can 'Shine'.
March 12, 20214 yr Her debut album is still in my opinion her best album ever, i used to love “I wish” and “Going Nowhere” and “Because of you” and of course “Dreams”.... too bad only the latter was a hit in the UK and as i remember I wish was a minor US hit....
March 12, 20214 yr ^ I love ‘second chance’ from her debut album. ‘We Dont Talk’ is also a nice bop, her debut album is more 90’s rnb compared to the soul ballads she is now more famous for. Going Nowhere made the top 10.
March 15, 20214 yr I'm surprised to see Rise and Out Of Reach having nearly identical chart sales! Am I right in thinking Rise sold significantly more in 2000 than Out Of Reach did in 2001...meaning Out Of Reach has been catching up with trickle sales/streams?

Am I right in thinking Rise sold significantly more in 2000 than Out Of Reach did in 2001...meaning Out Of Reach has been catching up with trickle sales/streams? I think so, Rise was #13 in the year-end chart for 2000 and Out Of Reach #24 for 2001. Out Of Reach has a lot more streams on Spotify too so I can believe that!
