March 12, 20214 yr In my opinion I would put A’Whora above Ellie (even with the totally unnecessary lashing out at other queens), but no-one else I think Joe Black severely underestimated the competition and deserved to go early. I feel for Cherry Valentine as she became the last placed contestant and that was not deserved

While Joe is maybe not the kind of drag queen Ru looks for (and therefore got eliminated), she is a seasoned performer and is way more interesting than Ellie (in my opinion ofcourse). She was probably the biggest and most well known prior to the show. It just doesn't make sense because you don't think Ellie should've been in the final of the show over Joe because Joe is more popular than her outside of the show. Aren't all queens supposed to be equal upon entering or all the instagram-popular/seasoned queens already deserve to get to the final automatically? Nothing wrong with saying 'I like Joe more than Ellie' but the extra stuff made it a tad confusing as we are watching a reality TV show with its own challenges that doesn't include the queens' previous irl achievements.

However she did alright as part of the girl group. The previous is also suggesting the struggle. But I still think if Tayce/ Ellie do smash it, its not going to be enough.

They hate the looks, the lipsyncs, they said not a single queen on the cast was funny- make it make sense! Americans not getting something that's not necessarily for them- SHOCK! Bob and Alaska however seem to be adoring this season and they're both in my top 5 queens so I can't be too mad.
March 16, 20214 yr Gah Latrice and Manila can be a real pain in the ass on their podcast. I've tried it a few times & not been a fan. I kind of feel Latrice should've quit while she was ahead sometimes. AS4 was not a good look on her. American celebs are kind of fascinating though. Like the concept of watching a tv show that might not be explicitly catered to their tastes over any other seems almost offensive to them. I guess it's the whole feeling America is the centre of the world vibe.

March 17, 20214 yr Bob and Alaska however seem to be adoring this season and they're both in my top 5 queens so I can't be too mad. Bob and Alaska know British humour etc more so than Latrice/Manila and Bob does his research! I love Bob's review each week of the UK episodes. In one way I'm glad so many americans seem to be so confused at times. :lol: I love knowing all the references and having the humour appeal to me more.

Bob explaining pantos and Eastenders on his latest review was great to see rather than the 2 of them just slating both the challenge and runway because they didn’t understand!

March 17, 20214 yr Living for the Vinegar-Tayce drama. A'Whora and GINNY LEMON have waded in too. Tbh I feel like Vinegar might have been taken a bit out of context. She said that Tayce was wearing club outfits & that she wasn't being herself like she is out the show. But then she also did GO OFF :lol: idk I'm living either way. If those comments came out in the club I think they'd all be laughing but I guess maybe because she said it 'behind their backs' the context is different.
March 17, 20214 yr She did say she sucked A'whora off just to get some good outfits as well in the same clip so a) I take that as being quite disrespectful b) is not coherent with her argument that she is still in the same outfits, same colour as she was at the clubs? Sounds more personal than anything truly logical to me. Also there's a bit of debate about Drag Race 'elitism' and that being great in a bar/club situation is something to be looked down upon? Lots wading in to say that you need to have talent to manage a crowd and keep people entertained for an extended period of time.
