March 20, 20214 yr I can't believe I'm saying this about Tina of all people, but she was kinda done dirty? I don't think her advert was *amazing* but at least she tried and had an idea with jokes, plus her runway was her best easily, actually a surprise from Tina on the runway! And I know she does rest on her red and orange flames but it was a branding challenge, so ofcourse she'd include that... It was a pretty weak challenge imo so whilst she didn't smash it, by NO means was she worse than some others. I thought the won the lipsync too, I'm not too mada since I didn't like her much, but I don't think she should have been bottom 2 in the first place based on that challenge. Totally agree with you. Not exactly a Tina fan either. Her colour way isn't my fave. But I felt she'd clearly considered how the advert was going to get edited together, with cut aways and clear changes in character. I also think she was right to use recognisable looks as it was a branding challenge. So very strange to criticise that this week. Especially when they praised her for that housewife look last week. Very mixed messages. Also agree about Symone's furry suit. Maybe the judges didn't clock that one.
March 20, 20214 yr Olivia high? I thought her advert was perfectly serviceable- same as her runway and actually had so many judges laughs edited in which was so bizarre considering she got such bad feedback? I can totally see how people didn’t like the ad though it was nothing to write home about
March 20, 20214 yr If there is ONE redeeming quality from this series it’s that the lipsyncs have been relatively great! Season 12 had some clunkers- S&M, Problem, Let It Go, even Heart to Break wasn’t brilliant

Very mixed messages. 100%, very often it seems that when it's not a challenge that's something "obvious" like say Snatch Game or an acting challenge, the criteria is really unclear. Because they say for example Olivia doesn't know her brand, and then Tina gets criticised for the colours and flames which ARE her brand. It's fine if they didn't like Tina's ad, it wasn't that great, but the judging critiques just made no sense.
March 20, 20214 yr Poor Tina, although it did feel like the right time for her to go. The weakest for me were Gotmik and Utica. Kandy should've been low - her runway was dire (almost as bad as Lalari's bag outfit) and her advert wasn't that great? With Tina being safe. I don't get how this is a branding challenge and the judges were criticising Tina Burner's look in the advert which was quintessentially her?! :lol: I feel Ross is just so off most of the time with his commentary. Tina and Utica both did well in the lip sync and was more deserving of a double save than the earlier Symone/Kandy lip sync. I honestly can't wait to move on from this season now. :lol: The epsiode was generally enjoyable - Symone and Rose killed it, but it feels so dragged out now. Hurry and crown a winner so we can go on to AS6 and the possible International All Stars season.
March 20, 20214 yr I have never been more confused by the judging as I have this season. The production also being relentlessly blatant is just not fun or interesting to watch either — we all know who is going to be in the final and how they perform leading up to that doesn't matter.
