easy life (who have now rebranded to all lower case) have announced their debut album "life's a beach" will be releasedon June 4th! Intro track (but doesn't really sound like a single) 'a message to myself' is out today, 'nightmares' and 'daydreams' are the only two older tracks to appear.

The album is really good, but the real moment of genius here is the last song, music to walk home to.

I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I've enjoyed this album. I'd been a big fan of theirs and loved pretty much everything they'd done up to and including the Party Food EP, but the songs they'd put out following that were all amongst their weakest, but this album is great, a real step up in quality again. It works really well and flows very nicely, Music to Walk Home To is superb and yeah, definitely the stand out on it.

Aren't most of the songs released since the Junk Food EP on this album though?

As far as I can work out Daydreams is the only one of the four songs they released last year that's gone on to appear on the album. I know they released about half of the album in the month leading up do it but wasn't really counting them.

I'm really hoping 'ocean view' gets an actual single push!
