Posted May 7, 20214 yr New one from Joe Goddard and Amy Douglas. Pretty lit and an awesome filthy bassline! Goddard and Douglas began collaborating after the Hot Chip member reached out to the singer via Twitter. Douglas’ past work includes co-writing the song “Something More” from Róisín Murphy’s album Róisín Machine. W8dgDmXCHN0
May 7, 20214 yr Great, reminds me of Changes by Chris Lake a bit with it being vocal house and the bassline.
May 10, 20214 yr Now that this has been revealed as my song contest entry, I can finally say that I think it is utterly fabulous. Those vocals, that baseline, that video!
May 23, 20214 yr Author Criminal how R1 and 6Music have just ignored this - deserves to be a big hit IMO and obviously win BJSC too obvs. (Watch 6Music playlist this on Monday now!)
May 24, 20214 yr Agree with all of the above, naturally! I really feel like this could be a reasonable success if it was playlisted and given a push on streaming sites :(
July 12, 20214 yr Author New single is out: “Dangerous” 8pKXJRQXags Album will be out on 5th November.
July 12, 20214 yr Was just coming here to post about that... it's definitely not as immediate as Holding On Too Long was for me but in the context of an album it could be a winner
October 11, 20213 yr An 8 track album will be out on 5th November 1. Love Scenes 2. Dangerous 3. Running Out Of Time 4. You Always Know 5. Take You Down 6. About Us 7. Holding On Too Long 8. Sister Infinity
November 4, 20213 yr The album arrived with me today and it’s absolutely great. I’m pleased to report that Dangerous is the weakest thing there by some distance. It’s an update to the type of house music that would have been played in Renaissance in the 90s with big vox and very danceable grooves. I’m going to be playing this a LOT.

It's a very good collaboration- from a quick listen there is nothing here that quite outpeaks Holding On Too Long for me, but it's still a really enjoyable & nostalgic experience and listen in total! “About Us” and “Sister Infinity” are both really strong.
