That snippet through the video sounds good, very upbeat, generally i do enjoy the manics but i dont enjoy their output as i once did.

Sounding brilliant on first listen!

The Manics will never reach the great heights of their 90s output ever again and I miss the glitter and the combat gear. They lost their fire years ago but there's always something comfortably familiar about them. As elegant and eloquent as ever but this feels functional at best.

 

I hope there's something more interesting on the album.

They are well passed their 90s heyday but i still think they release some good material, this included.

Well it's no International Blue but it's not bad!

Why has no one told me how fantastic Orwellian is until today?!
