The problem is with really successful albums that stick around for ages like Breakaway, is that they are hard to beat. For example Christina Aguilera, Stripped was around for ages, yet Back II Basics has already fallen out of the top 40.

Yeah you have to have a killer first single for it to be a stand alone album...

It can't be too 'killer' to irritate the **** out of people though. Like Jame's Blunt's You're Beautiful.

 

SUBG was a great summer track and it was around for ages, but didn't over-stay in the top 40, which helped the album.

Yeah, I just meant something that's really good and catchy... Releasing something like Walk Away wouldn't do much good, but something so instantly catchy like Since U Been Gone would :D

Go would be a good first release. Although I don't if it'll be on the album and it's more of a summer track.

I doubt that it will be on the album also, although I would love it be... I really wanted a recorded version of "Don't"

Haven't heard Don't. It would be criminal for Go not to be on the album.

BUt remember her biggest market is the U.S. and they have had Breakaway since November 04
