February 3, 200718 yr Author http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f8/Anastacia_-_freak_of_nature.jpg Freak Of Nature Freak Of Nature is the 2nd studio album by Anastacia! After seeing the Pop/Dance side of Anastacia from the Not That Kind era, Anastacia retunrs in 2001/2002 with a sexy new look, and a sexy new style. In this album, Anastacia delivers Funk Down-Town to RnB to Power Ballads. So welcome, to Freak Of Nature! On Not That Kind, she wrote 3/4 of the album, on this album, she wrote ALL of the songs ^_^
February 3, 200718 yr Author Freak Of Nature It's all about the opening baby! The amazing open is spoken by Anastacia, and suddenly draws you in, "Excuse me, what you say to me?" etc. And then you get pulled in by the funky mo-town/RnB type of music, and Anastacia really shows of her vocals. Singing in a very deep but sassy kind of way, leads up to the chorus. Now to be honest with ya, as soon as I heard the chorus, I hated the song completly, but it grows on you! The sexy chorus delivers the song, with the "Ahhh ah ahhhh, Im A Freak Of Nature, You Better Beware, Danger". Then she dives right into the verse again, then bang into the chorus, with a lil interlude. And then, we get the usual belt of notes right near the end that completly the song for us! And then to top of the song, the famous laugh and the, "Allright, that's freaky enough for me!" To describe this song = :whip: [flash=250,150]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jM1lr8x8fbc.swf When Anastacia performs this live, it's one of the sexy performances of the song, on Live At Last she strips down to her bra and moves in ways we thought she'd never be able to do, and on the Encore Tour she gets down on the floor and shakes that tight ass of hers! :whip:

February 4, 200718 yr Author Paid My Dues There was alot going around about Anastacia's unusual voice round the time of the Not That Kind era, but Paid My Dues is what her vocals are really all about. Edgy, Cutty with that bit of oo la la  We all know the famous, "You can say what you want about me, Wanna do what you want to me, But you cannot stop me." Anastacia said she wrote the song about her record company, and how everyone was trying to change her, but she didn't change and came out in the end as who she was, with the voice she was born with. This is the lead single of the Freak Of Nature album, and it's different to Im Outta Love. IOL, lead single of Not That Kind, was a dance pop song, Paid My Dues is a edgy RnB song, and her voice deffinatly delivers near the end, as she belts out them notes! The video is wicked to, better then all of her last 4 vids -_- [flash=250,150]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p59Ve4NdLKc.swf [flash=250,150]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsryGFw_H4M.swf One of the best performances of Paid My Dues is the one at Rock In Rio, especially when she hits the big notes at the end. When I went to see Anastacia, Live... At Last in Birmingham, the whole crowd was singing along to, "You Can Say What You.." etc. Which gave an amazing atmosphere ^_^ Enjoy!
February 5, 200718 yr Author Overdue Goodbye Ahh here we have, Overdue Goodbye. So really, what is with this song? Well, it's a Summer/Autumn feel song, keeping it very fresh. Anastacia opens the song with her backing singers, hit some high but gentle notes, and then half way through the song she finally sings on her own. Moving through the song, with the acapelle feel, the song I guess is just produced by a guitar and one drum and then, of course, Anastacia hits those massive notes! Sensation to our ears! And then, the song slowly and quietly fades out, with the sweet, "Goodbye." And really, thats Overdue Goodbye for ya, a sweet, relaxing, calming song! ------------------ Hmm, well I'm really annoyed that I can't find any good video's, but anyway, halfway through the concrt, Anastacia appears on a B-Stage, with just her and two guitar players, first she sings an Acapela of Who's Gonna Stop The Rain, then she sings an Acapela of Overdue Goodbye. It sounds brilliant, plus, she looks brill to
