Im back home for a Long Weekend and so I nipped over to Dundee which is the major city near us to do a spot of Vinyl shopping. And aside from HMV, where you’d expect would carry it (in the new release section which we love), both of the Indies also had it! The first one had an incredible selection of pop I was so stoked. The second is a new store from the staff of a beloved second hand store that shut last year that’s a little music snobby and they had a new vinyl section and had both the Gold and the Tri-colour!!! They had very little proper pop in that but it’s a good demo on how „cool“ One Touch was and still is perceived by folks who have snobby taste and look down on pop

Even though I didn't but the vinyl I wonder why the b-sides, demos and remixes weren't included on a 2nd/3rd disc instead of a download card? I'm guessing it may have been too costly to make? Those would've sounded so good on vinyl

Love to hear this! It really is held in such high regard. Would be nice if it continued to sell a fair few copies over the coming months/years.

I visited my bf's family over the Christmas break, so could finally pick up the vinyl and black cassette! Both of them look so pretty, very happy to have them now :wub:

I received that one with the deluxe edition album and t-shirt back in October. Had that one delivered to my home address (as I hadn't realised by then that we have to pay extra import costs thanks to Brexshit)

:lol: Is it bad that I don't mind that tri-colour? I don't think it's as nice as the original mock up suggested it would be, but I don't think it's horrible!

Such a missed opportunity having a side album of them as 'adults', and 3 different cd covers of just the girls on their own. Fans would throw their money :wave:

I dunno. I liked the classy kinda look they went for. They were never really marketed as individuals so I’m not sure individual covers would work for the Babes vs like Spice Girls or even GA. They were marketed more heavily as individuals.

Of course the announcement has been botched and pre-empted by the eastern Timezones

One year since OT20 was announced!!

I've got a horrible feeling that the Anniversary Remixes release on 18th June for Record Store Day isn't happening now :(

This was literally the only other release this year I was waiting for, I'll be so gutted if it's been cancelled!

It has been scored through in red on the German list 😭

I've emailed RSD to try and get to the bottom of what's going on. I don't exactly hold hope given they've point blank ignored us on Twitter but I just want to know one way or another.

Sadly this title was removed by the label from the RSD list yesterday as pressing plant delays have meant it will no longer make the June Drop date.

Although that's still not really answering the question of whether or not it's actually getting released at all?

 

UPDATE: They've now said "We don’t have anymore info at the moment, but if anything does change it would be on the RSD website so best to keep checking."

I guess they simply just does not know. I'd assume it's cancelled since it wasn't exactly a wide and well-publicized release.
