I paid well over £35 for this (inc shipping costs) <_<

I mean, it was worth it at the time lol :teresa:

These things always got flogged off cheap a year down the line or sell out completely. You risk the latter though if you wait for that price reduction.

It is all extra sales for Wannabe's sales total so all good by me the extra copies being sold.

For sure. We all thought that the Wannabe25 vinyl was a limited edition but they just kept printing more lol It's sold good though :P

Same with the GH picture disc, they just kept printing more.

If there is demand they will defo make sure it is filled. No point only printing 2k if you can flog 9k and have 10k printed and flog the 1k off cheap.

That's right and personally I am not precious about the whole 'limited edition' as it is clearly just a tactic for fans to buy right away in bulk, and this way it prevents the scammers then selling them for thousands online afterwards -_-

According to Mel C's book, here's some info on unreleased Spice-era tracks:

Serial Killer, Overnight, Likely Stories (C U Next Tuesday)

Overnight is about a sex worker

Serial Killer is recorded by Mel C only

Emma came up with C U Next Tuesday :P Naughty Spice strikes again

It also makes sense that c**t is an Emma idea, since a lot of her music could be close to that 'Lily Allen' vibe that Mel C described c**t as

Intrigued about these three tracks! WILD that they were not included in the Spice 25

^ Melanie was asked again about C U Next Tuesday in a new interview:

https://www.thedailybeast.com/melanie-c-on-...dline-coachella

Q: I also hope that someday we’ll get to hear some of the unreleased songs you mention in this book that the group wrote and recorded for that first album. I’m most curious about “C U Next Tuesday.” Will that ever see the light of day? And should it?

Melanie: I think it should. I think there were nerves around it being on the anniversary edition of Spice for certain reasons, which I think is a shame. Because there’s a real charm about it. I mean, that’s what I’ve loved with some of the demos that we’ve had remastered and put on things for the fans, because, you know, technology was very different then. So these demos are full of bum notes and things being out of time, and that’s kind of cute, you know what I mean? You would never get that now, because everything is so polished to perfection.

Q: What is that song about?

Melanie: I think this is the one when we were talking about boyfriends who are just like… you know when your friend is with this guy and you can just see he’s a dick and he’s not treating her the way she should be treated? We were in a discussion, and there was one particular boy around the time, and that was what inspired the song. It’s just about those boys who… I mean, I see my daughter now, and she’s 13 and she’s very confident. But you still see this. I hate the situations where it’s like the boys have the control. It’s that, “Mm mm mm, he’s not hot enough for you, girl, you just remember that!” I think it’s, you know, within our lives and our developments there are moments where we allow other people to be in control of our emotions, and it’s hard for us to stay strong.

I already have two, should I get another one?

Anyway, it's wild to read the first page how the girls and UMG surprised us with Wannabe 25th vinyl with 'Feed Your Love' as a bonus track. Who would have predicted that would be the only track that made the cut between Spice and Spiceworld anniversaries lol.

This in-house promo from September 1997 had longer lengths for those songs!

Ah, I see. As far as we know, the are just extended mixes, not necessarily demos right?

Either way, the lack of inclusion of these or even the Never Give Up On The Good Times extended mix (once mentioned by Victoria as her favourite) in Spiceworld25 was pretty awful.
