So this is for March of this year guys :lol: The rules: Contest window: Any album released in March 2021 Entry window: Usually probably the first week of the month or so, for this one I'll just go for a week from now! The system: Choose any three albums released during the month in question in order of preference. The best receives three points, second best two points and the third best one point. June 1, 20214 yr 1 Lana Del Rey - Chemtrails Over The Country Club 2 Kings Of Leon - When You See Yourself 3 Ben Howard - Collections From The Whiteout So mainstream of me Very close between Lana and KOL actually, I think both have a decent number of filler tracks which drag them down a bit while the rest of the albums are great, but on balance I think Lana's album has more highlights than KOL's. This is definitely the weakest month of the year so far for albums imo though. - my current top 5 albums of the year so far has 2 from April and 1 each from January, February and May, Lana is probably around my 7th fave album of the year overall so far. Shoutout to Kölsch's 'Isopolis' which I nearly put in 3rd but it's unclear if it's an album or just a long EP (plus it won't get through anyway so might as well back an album that at least some other people might vote for).
