Posted December 8, 200618 yr Girls Aloud and the Sugababes are set to team up as a sexy supergroup to make a charity track for Comic Relief, the Daily Star reveals. The eight-piece girl band are recording a top secret song to be released as the official Comic Relief anthem next year. It is rumoured the tune will be a cover of a well-known hip-hop classic and there will be a special video to go with it. A Comic Relief insider told the paper: "It's a real coup getting both groups together for a song. "They're the hottest female pop bands in the UK - having even one would be a result." Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle, and Sugababes Keisha Buchanan, Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah are reported to be half-way through recording the vocals. If the song is anything like their previous hits, it looks set to top the charts and the video will surely be one of the hottest of 2007.

December 15, 200618 yr This is great news. And I always assumed they hated each other. Guaranteed #1 for both acts.
December 15, 200618 yr A Hip Hop classic? I'm thinking Gangasta's Paradise or I'll Be Missing You! This will be superb - it will shift bucketloads what with it being for Comic Relief and the usual fanbase - McFly's sold over 300,000 last time and Amarillo did a million - I can't wait! And the video should be amazing too. <3
December 15, 200618 yr Hopefully this will put an end to rivalry between Girls Aloud and Sugababes from both the press and the fans.
