Ya it should hold up fairly ok until end of December, nice if it could go silver in that time or close to it, we could possibly see a re release next year to bump sales.

Looking at the existing sales information I don't think Gary will chart anywhere lower than Number 6 but Number 5 is more likely to be where it will debut.

Todays mids

1 Adele - 30 (61.1k)

2 Westlife - Wild Dreams (33.0k) *

3 Ed Sheeran - = (21.2k)

4 ABBA - Voyage (15.6k)

5 Gary Barlow - The Dream of Christmas (15.4k) (1.4k sales since yesterdays update .

Michael Buble is number 6 so Gary could lose out on a top 5 but i would still be happy with number 6.

If he can keep selling 1400 a day he would just about do it but think he will end up around 19k which is still good, how it will do next week I have no clue.
The album showing slight improvements on daily sales is welcoming, I would like this to continue and help the album to 20,000 in time for the Friday chart.

It doesn't help that he doesn't have any big promo right now. I know he's touring and doesn't have time left for anything else, but I would have liked to see the same big promo he usually does with his albums. The single, if promoted enough, could sell the album consistently until Christmas. It's stuck in my head and every day I'm waking up with the line "You've given me nothing" in my head :D

Another mistake his team made was making most versions of the album, bar the standard one, available only in UK. People have to remember that these sales, even if delivered to other countries, counted towards the UK charts in the past. Now, a lot of European fans were put off by this discrimination. I know my friend, who used to buy most formats Gary put out, refused to buy even the standard one, as a form of protest.

I would have liked to buy the deluxe version and the vinyl one, but.....it seems Gary”s team lack a few neurons.

Debuts at 34 here in Ireland which isnt great but in better news it debuts at Number 5 in the UK given Gary his 5th solo Top 5 album.

For a Christmas album, Gary I believe will be happy with its performance unless it drops hugely this week.

It’s a good performance, especially with no promo or lead single. A top 5 album is a great result. Maybe it’ll go higher before Xmas
Number 12 is better than predicted and it could potentially be close to Number 10.
