June 6, 20214 yr I've only ever had 1-week #1s  Last year they were, from June 12th: June 12th: The 1975 - If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know) June 19th: The Snuts - Elephants June 26th: Neck Deep - Fall July 3rd: Bring Me The Horizon - Parasite Eve July 10th: Nothing But Thieves - Real Love Song July 17th: James Bay - Chew On My Heart July 24th: Yungblud - Strawberry Lipstick July 31st: The Lemon Twigs - Live in Favor of Tomorrow August 7th: The Vamps - Married In Vegas August 14th: Machine Gun Kelly - concert for aliens August 21st: filous & The Kooks - Hey Love August 28th: London Grammar - Baby It's You
June 6, 20214 yr 2012: Calvin Harris - We'll Be Coming Back (feat. Example) / Plan B - Lost My Way (both 5 weeks) 2013: Chase And Status - Lost & Not Found (feat. Louis M^ttrs) (7 weeks) 2014: Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars (3 weeks) 2015: Calvin Harris and Disciples - How Deep Is Your Love (5 weeks) 2019: Burial - Claustro (6 weeks) 2020: Everything Everything - Violent Sun / ROSALÍA and Travis Scott - TKN (both 3 weeks) I didn't put dates on my earlier charts so although I could probably find songs for this from 2009-11 it'd take too much effort so cba xx (and with the exception of three one-off returns, none of which were in summer months, I didn't have a personal chart in 2016-2018). Looking back at my old charts is kind of wild, there are so many songs that I'd forgotten reached #1 for me at all (and some that had longer runs than I remember, although inversely I thought 'Lost & Not Found' actually had more than 7 weeks at #1 - nonetheless that's still a crazy number by my current chart's standards, 'Claustro' is the joint longest running #1 since my chart returned!)
June 11, 20214 yr 2016: Kaiser Chiefs - Parachute (2 weeks in July) 2017: MOWE - Skyline (2 weeks in June - more weeks Top 10) 2018: John Gibbons - Sweat (A La La La La Long) (3 weeks in August) 2019: AURORA - The Seed (4 weeks in July) 2020: The Howl & The Hum - Hostages (4 weeks in August) Interesting how most of these songs aren't the ones I would particularly say defined my summer! I always think of the dance songs I had on whilst on holiday, but they usually only end up spending 1-2 weeks at the top if that and then go down again when I'm back.
