I didn't put dates on my earlier charts so although I could probably find songs for this from 2009-11 it'd take too much effort so cba xx (and with the exception of three one-off returns, none of which were in summer months, I didn't have a personal chart in 2016-2018).

Looking back at my old charts is kind of wild, there are so many songs that I'd forgotten reached #1 for me at all (and some that had longer runs than I remember, although inversely I thought 'Lost & Not Found' actually had more than 7 weeks at #1 - nonetheless that's still a crazy number by my current chart's standards, 'Claustro' is the joint longest running #1 since my chart returned!)

2016: Kaiser Chiefs - Parachute (2 weeks in July)

2017: MOWE - Skyline (2 weeks in June - more weeks Top 10)

2018: John Gibbons - Sweat (A La La La La Long) (3 weeks in August)

2019: AURORA - The Seed (4 weeks in July)

2020: The Howl & The Hum - Hostages (4 weeks in August)

Interesting how most of these songs aren't the ones I would particularly say defined my summer! I always think of the dance songs I had on whilst on holiday, but they usually only end up spending 1-2 weeks at the top if that and then go down again when I'm back.
