Posted June 7, 20214 yr Calvin Harris has been turning out club bangers for almost 15 years; his debut single Acceptable In The 80s hit Number 10 on the Official Chart in 2007. Since then, he has amassed 10 Number 1 songs and has knocked up hits for Kylie Minogue, Scissor Sisters, Rihanna, Cheryl and Rita Ora. Calvin has a mighty 26 Top 10 singles under his belt, as well as two Number 1 albums - view his Official Chart history in full here. Not too shabby, right? Check out Calvin's biggest hits to date below, but first, a closer look at the Top 5: 5. Promises Year: 2018 Official Chart peak: 1 UK chart sales: 1.73m This sleek, house-pop number saw Calvin team up with Sam Smith, who makes a much-welcome return to their early dance days with Disclosure here. The track was a late summer hit, spending six weeks at Number 1 and becoming Calvin's tenth and most recent chart-topper. 4. How Deep Is Your Love (with Disciples) Year: 2015 Official Chart peak: 2 UK chart sales: 1.82m Joining forces with then-unknown British production trio Disciples, How Deep Is Your Love (which features uncredited vocals from its co-writer Ina Wroldsen) is one of Calvin's more straightforward club bangers, but remains a masterclass in subtly addictive dance. It spent two weeks at Number 2, denied pole position firstly by One Direction's Drag Me Down, and Charlie Puth and Megan Trainor's Marvin Gaye the following week. 3. This Is What You Came For Year: 2016 Official Chart peak: 2 UK chart sales: 2.08m Another song that had to settle for second place, This Is What You Came For was Calvin's second hook-up with Rihanna and was a monster hit in 2016. It achieved over 100,000 combined sales in each of its first two weeks, but it wasn't enough to take the top spot from an even bigger song that summer: Drake's One Dance. 2. We Found Love Year: 2011 Official Chart peak: 1 UK chart sales: 2.23m Eyebrows were raised when it was announced that Calvin was teaming up with Rihanna for the lead single from her sixth album Talk That Talk, but it turned out to be a genius move for both artists. The melancholy dance banger was Number 1 in more than 25 countries, including the UK, where it spent six weeks at the summit was the year's fifth biggest single. We Found Love is one of the few songs over the past decade to hit 1 million pure sales - 1.43 million of its total figure comes from downloads. 1. One Kiss Year: 2018 Official Chart peak: 1 UK chart sales: 2.49m Like Mariah's All I Want For Christmas Is You, One Kiss is the kind of summer-defining anthem that deserves to return to the charts ever year. Its club-classics production combined with Dua's supremely laid back vocal made it feels instantly timeless upon its release. The track spent eight weeks at Number 1 and was the UK's biggest single that year - its total UK streams to date stand at an eye-watering 267 million. The rest of the Top 20 Two more of Calvin's Number 1s feature in the Top 10: 2014's Summer places seventh (1.42m), and John Newman collaboration Blame is eighth (1.13m). His 2014 hook-up with Ellie Goulding, Outside, places at Number 11, with 997,000 chart sales, while his first outing with Ellie, I Need Your Love, places 14th on 808,000. Calvin's lowest-selling chart-topper, Under Control ft. Alesso and Hurts, ranks 18th with 669,000 chart sales. Singles that just miss out on his all-time Top 20 include Thinking About You with Ayah Marar (21), a Number 8 hit in 2012; his 2007 debut single Acceptable In The 80s (22), and Haim collaboration Pray To God from 2014 (23). June 7, 20214 yr Author Some great new sales updates. Nice to see Promises almost at 3x Platinum and I'm sure Giant isn't too far behind.
June 7, 20214 yr No real surprises in here, but very nice to have an updated list. His sales are incredible really
June 7, 20214 yr Author Just noticed Feels is missing. Think it should be between Summer and Blame.
June 7, 20214 yr very impressive that's he's got 11 millionaires (including 'Feels' which the OCC seemingly have forgot about - alongside 'Dance Wiv Me' which should be top 20 - because they have him credited as "Harris" to save space on their databases) and just weeks away from an 12th! and all his #1s going platinum too Feel So Close I've noticed seems to be doing very well as a catalogue seller so I'd expect that to overtake Blame before too long.
June 7, 20214 yr In the last few years, I’ve only really liked Giant. He had a stellar run of singles from how deep is your love backwards apart from the funk waves bounce era which wasn’t my thing at all!
June 8, 20214 yr Lmao how did they forget Feels??? because the song is credited to “Harris/Pharrell/Perry/Big Sean” in their database they must’ve just done a search for “Calvin Harris”, which would exclude Feels. this is also why Dance Wiv Me is not there, again too many credits to put Calvin’s full name in there.
