Bit of a surprising result with Burnley beating Brighton 3-0, didn't see that result coming.

I'm just relieved that the result is merely embarrassing for Brighton rather than potentially serious. I knew I should have done something to the Burnley squad when they turned up at the hotel a couple hundred yards away

I saw footage of this earlier today and it was appalling, they didn't deserve to go through what they went endured. That being said Phil Foden's mum must be a physically strong woman to be able to take a punch in the face and barely flinch.

She looks a hard woman but fair play to her for sticking up for herself. That’s why famous people have to be in seperate areas!

The Football Association is investigating after Manchester United's Anthony Elanga was struck by an object thrown from the crowd in Sunday's Premier League victory at Leeds United.

Elanga, 19, was hit by a missile as the visitors celebrated Fred's 70th-minute goal in the 4-2 win at Elland Road.

That tonight wasn’t bad for the old goal difference!

It was superb - good thing is the momentum is with us now, although we're coming up to a tricker run of fixtures on paper, but just good to be in the hunt and City have pressure on them finally. They play Everton at the weekend, who usually roll over for them and the Everton fans don't care. Could be different this season though.

Spurs carry on being.. Spurs

Everton could be in the bottom 3 by Sunday!

Conte thinking about leaving Spurs?

Wouldn't shock me at all, it was such a mismatch appointment.

Arteta loses 3 games and sticks with his club, Conte loses 4 games and wants to pack his bags.

Gabby Agbonlahor claims Marcelo Bielsa “will get Leeds relegated” and that “Sunday League managers have better tactical awareness”.

Leeds are now just three points above the relegation zone after Liverpool thumped them 6-0 on Wednesday night.

True although Conte still has the credentials to get most jobs. Don't see anyone rushing to get Arteta if/when he leaves Arsenal.

Clueless clown, Leeds would have been relegated last season under any other manager. There's only so far you can take a Championship-standard squad!

You've probably got to say 4th is Arsenal's to lose now. Think if they avoid defeats in the head to heads against the teams around them they will get 4th.
Arsenal probably wont do anything in the Champions League anyway if they get 4th. Maybe they could get another 5-1 battering against Bayern Munich!
Things is though lads, United should t be in a battle for the 4th place with the investment and players they have they should be battling with the top 3 but aren’t. Arsenal weren’t even in Europe and have got a narrative and are getting a squad together with lesser players again and are probably punching above their weight this season under Arteta (albeit not looking at the longer term history)!
