April 23, 20223 yr I think Wan Bisakka is a good footballer just not the right back a top club needs these days. Thing is United will always be back the Ferguson years built a foundation where they will always have the financial strength to be top dogs again when the stars align. Just depends on all the issues being sorted out. I mean imagine yous were a club that didn’t win anything!
April 23, 20223 yr On the positive side of things by this time next month the football season will be over. Not long to go now!
April 23, 20223 yr On the positive side of things by this time next month the football season will be over. Not long to go now! What's bad today is all my Utd fan friends wanted that line-up to be played - not seen the game so I can't comment, and if that penalty goes in it's a different game I suppose. Praying you end up in the Conference League though!

Praying you end up in the Conference League though! Even if we end up in the Conference League it won't make a difference because we won't take that competition seriously so that wouldn't impact Premier League games next season. Praying Liverpool don't win the quadruple, but of course that's not going to happen anyway.

Praying Liverpool don't win the quadruple, but of course that's not going to happen anyway. Don't really think it matters with the Premier League games though - can't see you challenging for the title for at least 2-3 years. This set of players is not set up for Ten Hag in any way, shape or form. You seem to have more confidence than me that we will win the quadruple! I don't Liverpool fan really expects it, I certainly don't.
April 23, 20223 yr If you’s are in the Europa league it will effect the league even if you don’t take it seriously it fatigues the squad overall playing potentially 6 games
April 23, 20223 yr Author I don't think Tim Kurl would want to talk about Bruno following that third goal he conceded for Norwich City.
April 23, 20223 yr Author Tottenham have failed to register a shot on target in a match for the fourth time in the Premier League this season, twice as many as any other side.
April 23, 20223 yr Author Considering the squad he’s got, Steven Gerrard’s spell at Aston Villa has been pretty underwhelming.

I don't Liverpool fan really expects it, I certainly don't. Those 2-3 years will be here before you know it. Maybe in that time Liverpool will continue to NEARLY win the title like they frequently seem to do...... apart from that one time when no one was in the stadium to see it.

We’ve won the league title 19 times mate  Edited April 23, 20223 yr by Steve201
April 23, 20223 yr Christiano Ronaldo becomes the 4th Man United player to reach 100 premier league goals(after Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes & Andy Cole) 18 years after his first in November 2003.
April 23, 20223 yr We’ve won the league title 19 times mate  I'm not talking about the 1970's and 1980's. I mean within the past few years since Klopp became your manager and Liverpool became "the best team in the World"

Maybe in that time Liverpool will continue to NEARLY win the title like they frequently seem to do...... apart from that one time when no one was in the stadium to see it. I'd rather be nearly to it than not at all! Can't win it every season and won't be too long until City catch up with Utd/Liverpool league titles. Thing is with Utd, is while they were the first club to really bask in the commerical success & opportunities, they are 3-5 years behind setting up analytics and data science like other clubs use for example. I've heard they've been nearly to the title for 10 years now and they suffer from the weight of fans/media expectations every single time like Liverpool used to do.
April 24, 20223 yr I'm not talking about the 1970's and 1980's. I mean within the past few years since Klopp became your manager and Liverpool became "the best team in the World" Nobody called Liverpool the best team in the world on this forum to be fair. Everyone is in the shadow of City since 2010 and with half their spending power we have won our first league title in 30 years(something United fans are all of a sudden realising can add up very quickly) and won our 6th European cup(twice as many as United have won). Add the league cup to that this season and I’m pretty happy as a Liverpool fan since Jurgen came in, we are playing the best football I have ever seen. And I do look at our 19 titles and they weren’t all won in the ‘70s and 80s’ as you say they were won over the past 130 years. You can’t just narrow it down to suit your arguement.

People have short minds too and focus their attentions to the era from about 2009-2015 with recent Liverpool history. Even after our 2nd to last title win, in the 90s we were pretty competitive. Our main problem was we lived in the past and were too far behind Manchester United in witnessing the changing landscape of football post 1992. But we still has some really great teams and just lagged behind. We made the right appointment with Benitez, but then we were matched with Chelsea and Manchester United. We've had some dark days under Hodgson and Rodgers though, the latter especially came with the rise of social media and we probably were the first "banter" club of the social media era.
