From a neutral point of view you could say this has been a good season as issues across the league table are all going to the final day but it's just from my own perspective as a Man Utd fan this season has been torture. When Ole got sacked that was when I knew we were going to go backwards this season after finishing 3rd then 2nd previously and that was way back in November. Since then things have just gotten worse and worse and we've had almost nothing to play for for months. I know compared to a lot of teams we're in a good position but still it is demotivating.

I guess now we know how fans of other teams must have felt in the 90's and 00's

Now call me old fashioned, but the rise in volume of people invading the pitch is crazy. I hate the God given right and arrogance football fans have that they should be allowed to invade the pitch. I just don't get it. Yes, totally get it that most people who invade the pitch are totally harmless, but I don't think it's right at all the players, officials and media should be put under such pressure. Not a fan.

It's about I think there has been 6 pitch invasions in various games during the last four days, it's getting worse and yes they'll be another on Sunday. You're no fan if you goad opposition players at the end of the game.
Be hilarious if Everton got a points deduction to get them relegated after all that!

Doesn't make any sense to me they allow pitch invasions at all, fans aren't allowed on the pitch during the match so they shouldn't be allowed on after it either. No idea how this 'tradition' still stands today.

Besides that, the fact the pitch invasion is for survival rather than actually winning something is utterly embarrassing for a club of Everton's stature. Like a season of complete and utter failure is something to celebrate?

Leeds and Burnley are threatening legal action against Everton and the Premier League over the handling of the club's finances.

Both clubs wrote to the league last week regarding Everton's most recent accounts which showed losses of £120.9m for the 2020-21 season.

They have posted losses of £372m over the past three years.

League profitability and sustainability rules allow for losses of £105m over a three-year period.

Everton say that Covid-19 losses over the past two seasons amount to £170m, which can be deducted from their total.

Surely the outcome won’t make any difference to the table though? Would Everton be docked points this late in the season? No chance.

Probably a fine most likely or no case.

Congratulations to Manchester City.
We are an absolute disgrace! We don't even deserve 6th place tbh but on the other hand thank f**k we haven't dropped below it, thank f**K this whole quadruple thing can finally be laid to rest, and most importantly of all thank f**k the 2021/22 Premier League season is finally over. Also good riddance to Burnley who have never really added much to the league anyway.

Yet another pitch invasion this time at Man City

Norwich and Man United denying me £650 from a £2 bet for both team to score in all Premier League games today.

Got to laugh at those useless gits Man Utd, completely ruined everyone's BTTS and over 2.5 goals accas. The only thing that could have been more deserving for them this season would have been the Conference League!

Can't congratulate City as it goes against sportswashing principles. They got the luck this season rather thans us. Feels a bit deflating, but it was never in our hands today. We go again next season, I'm still not convinced Haaland will make City all conquering in the league - CL maybe though.

Happy Leeds stayed up too.

Sad to see Burnley go down, do like a small town club but like Leeds as well tbf!

Liverpool unlucky in the end as city were messing it up but not too deflated as never thought we would win it today anyway. Roll on the champions league final and fingers crossed we can get win it.

Klopp puts it perfectly - to win big you have to lose big. For City to be 2-0 down, not sure anyone expected that and you could tell the players were deflated at the end. Our form in the 2nd half of the season has been nothing short of sensational though - sets us up well for next season (although I think next season could also be one of those fluke ones for any team).

Yeh with the World Cup and all!

Biggest loss today was Thiago being injured, what a player he is!
