July 10, 20214 yr Phil Foden could miss Sunday's Euro 2020 final against Italy with a foot injury. As some of the nation prepares to copy his haircut if we win? :kink: (oops though hope he'll be alright!)
July 11, 20214 yr The medical team who saved Christian Eriksen's life at the start of the tournament have been invited to tonight's match. Let's hope they are able to make it and get a very loud cheer from the crowd.
July 11, 20214 yr Exactly the reason I'm watching it on BBC1 Can't stand that Matterface. At first I thought it was a joke name or a nickname or something. :D
July 11, 20214 yr I’m just going to enjoy the match. It’s the first time I’ve seen England (men anyway) in a final and I am absolutely proud of them whatever happens. They’re a really respectable group of players and I’m proud that they are representing our country. It would be nice if all the fans were as respectful but, just because they’re not, doesn’t detract from my admiration for the messages Southgate and his squad have been sending out. For once we have a team that that I’m glad our kids can look up to.
July 11, 20214 yr Looks like Leicester Sq. is choc full already with people chucking beer over one another. A lot are plastic pint containers from nearby pubs but many bottles too. Hope there's no trouble as people get more drunk. Many off-licences and Tesco Express supermarkets closing early as they fear trouble and looting, according to Sky News. A few staff could do nothing against a mob determined to empty the shelves. Extra police drafted in as crowds gather at multiple locations around Central London. Also Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Sheffield. Edited July 11, 20214 yr by common sense

Also Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Sheffield. Unfortunately, win or lose it's going to be chaos. People will be tanked up from 8am this morning. I thought Tesco Expresses were shutting early so that fans could watch the game? It's the Amazon store down Wembley Way which I feel sorry for!
July 11, 20214 yr Italy are runners up at Wimbledon let's hope the trend continues at Wembley! Edited July 11, 20214 yr by fiesta

It's the Amazon store down Wembley Way which I feel sorry for! That mini shopping centre near the stadium will be very busy as well. It will most likely spill over to the Wembley Central high street also.

July 11, 20214 yr Author People were boozing at Wembley from 11:00am, it's going to be a total mess by the time the night is over
July 11, 20214 yr @1414275002002706432 It was the same for the Denmark game too. I don't know why they didn't allow full capacity (yes I know there is a pandemic) but it would stop this happening as you can easily find a seat/stand.
