What this pattern is obviously telling me is that Quintessa are due to come in minus 2nd this contest. Entrant History Karolina Stanisławczyk is a Polish singer. That’s about all I got. Quintessa will perform 23rd in Semi-Final H.
July 8, 20214 yr I remember that Banderas song being performed on the TOTP 1991 repeats on BBC4 just a couple of weeks ago.

Utopia will perform 17th in Semi-Final H.
July 8, 20214 yr Author ZSXyukqPwBw Recent National History BJSC 135 – Essy - Cry For Me – 13th BJSC 134 – moistbreezy - Breathless (Keeping Me Up All Night) – 21st BJSC 133 - Ulrikke - Falling Apart – 2nd Hendinia had a silver medal earlier in the year. They’ve been competitive since, but will be looking for a big hit with their returning Peking Duk. Entrant History This is the 4th appearance for Australian duo Peking Duk, after NQing with Ingermanlandia (‘The Way You Are’) in BJSC 55, coming 3rd with Hendinia (‘High’) in BJSC 63, and coming 27th with Kluminican Republic (‘Feels Like’) in BJSC 127. Hendinia will perform 2nd in Semi-Final Z.
July 8, 20214 yr I remember that Banderas song being performed on the TOTP 1991 repeats on BBC4 just a couple of weeks ago. I don't think that's a coincidence as John mentioned in a recent personal chart that it had returned because of appearing on TOTP! One of quite a few retro top 40 hits in this month's contest (we already had another from Motiv 8 of course and there are a few more to come #spoilers). IIRC As December Falls was one of Utopia's DNQs that deserved better so looking forward to hearing another song from them.
July 8, 20214 yr Author XqgYj8atJqo Recent National History BJSC 135 – Apache 207 - Roller - DNQ BJSC 134 – Jan-Marten Block - "Never Not Try" - DNQ BJSC 133 - Leony - Faded Love – 8th Republique D’Askorza scored a top 10 hit with ‘Faded Love’ in 133 but have been struggling in the semis since, is it time for them to return? Entrant History Minelli hails from Romania, where ‘Rampampam’ is currently charting. She appeared in BJSC once before, as a feature on Dave Ramone – Love On Repeat, the Dobago entry for BJSC 92. Republique D’Askorza will perform 5th in Semi-Final H.
July 8, 20214 yr Author a4Fuy73hKjM Recent National History BJSC 135 – Promis3 - Future Funeral – 14th BJSC 134 – Andreas Moss – Real Love - DNQ BJSC 133 – YONAKA – Seize The Power – DNQ The wonderful ‘Future Funeral’ secured Sovarasma their first qualifier in some time, now is it time for ‘Heal Me’ to continue them smashing? HORSE ALERT: Sovarasma are assigned Silence Suzuka, a racehorse from the 90s and the deuteragonist of Uma Musume Season 1. Entrant History Matisse & Sadko, a Russian duo, have not appeared in BJSC as a main artist before, but remixed Cadelicia’s M-3ox – Beating Of My Heart from BJSC 58, coming 9th on that occasion. Alex Aris, a Swedish singer, has also appeared in BJSC once as a featured artist on Dobago 90, Salvatore Ganacci, ‘Dive’, which also featured Enya and came 38th. Alex Aris is also a former member of Taped Rai, who had BJSC hits under that name and Max Elto, though perhaps I know him best for the wonderful ‘Dying For You’, which features Lindsey Stirling. Anyway, first time this particular configuration of artist lines up to take on BJSC. Sovarasma will perform 20th in Semi-Final H.
July 8, 20214 yr Author FFw-phgvrIE Recent National History BJSC 135 – Kokoko! - Zala Mayele - DNQ BJSC 134 – Schiller and Alphaville - Summer In Berlin – 14th BJSC 133 - Amongst Wolves - Rabbit Hole – DNQ Two DNQs in the last three contests, but a decent placing for ‘Summer In Berlin’, how will ‘The Bay’ do? That’s Bay, not Boy, I know my font sometimes makes A and O hard to differentiate. Entrant History Stereo Honey are a London-based band. ‘The Bay’ is written about the 2004 Morecambe Bay tragedy, where 23 undocumented Chinese migrant workers lost their lives. Niceland will perform 29th in Semi-Final Z.
July 8, 20214 yr The name 'thisisNAMASTE' seemed familiar and I'm not sure where from - may have been someone (Rich himself?) confirming them in a previous contest but then changing partway through? That was me, with the song 'Exactly What You Want' ^_^ I think I changed it to 'Mille Couronnes' by Aöme :)
July 8, 20214 yr Thanks Iz for the brilliant effort and super excited to see what Heal Me can offer! Edited July 8, 20214 yr by uhsting

He was entered to the most recent Pop Forum Song Contest, with this song. Greenfroze will perform 27th in Semi-Final H.
July 8, 20214 yr That was me, with the song 'Exactly What You Want' ^_^ I think I changed it to 'Mille Couronnes' by Aöme :) Ahh that'll be it then! I knew that was stuck in my memory for some reason :magic:
July 8, 20214 yr Isn't Rainin' Fellas on PFSC IX? :o It was, so it'll already be known to a fair few, but we didn't think it was worth vetoing as it didn't exactly do amazingly well there.
July 8, 20214 yr interesting to see Matisse & Sadko get entered here! I think I gave the song a listen before already too, have to see if it grows on me more from the contest.
July 8, 20214 yr Author EI_GeHSIS0A Recent National History BJSC 135 – gupi – What’s Known Now – 16th BJSC 134 – Quadeca – Sisyphus – 25th BJSC 133 - Mim Suleiman – Mwaitoma – 33rd Persephonia have been moving steadily on upwards, perhaps it’s time for that top 10 hit with what I believe is the ONLY entry attempting even slightly to pander to me - yes, BABYMETAL is the sole 'Asian' entry this contest unless I've forgotten anything. What happened to exploring Japan’s deep and exciting music scene in my honour? Entrant History Japanese Television are a new band from London self-describing as ‘space surf’. Persephonia will perform 12th in Semi-Final Z.
July 8, 20214 yr Author OIJsa_kznmA Recent National History BJSC 135 – That Kid – Mile High Club - DNQ BJSC 134 – Parov Stelar – Catgroove – 34th BJSC 133 - Fox Stevenson – Dreamland - 25th Well, looking at that DNQ, I can only conclude that Trifoski are the most misunderstood nation in the history of BJSC and the voters will never support them again. DJ Sabrina probably doesn’t have a chance. (host interjection: love it, shame I got drawn in the other semi) ZOMBIE ALERT: Trifoski is assigned Zombie Number 2 – Saki Nikaido, the legendary Biker Idol. She’s from the 90s but the main reason I gave her to Trifoski is I thought she looked rather like DJ Sabrina. On at least one of her album covers. Entrant History DJ Sabrina The Teenage DJ was first entered by FSR Rontvia in BJSC 113 with ‘All The Beautiful Things U Do’. She is a London-based electronic musician. Trifoski will perform 10th in Semi-Final H.
July 8, 20214 yr Pandering hype xx (entirely a coincidence that I've sent it to an Iz contest, it's been a potential for me for a little while, also there's not actually anything Japanese about it beyond the artist name, it is merely an entrancing psychedelic instrumental x I didn't notice that we had literally no Asian entries aside from BABYMETAL though, I guess no one wants to take that risk right now after how horrendously all of them did last contest lol) curses at not being a horse
