Well here is a list! :P

Let me sail, let me sail,

let the orinoco flow (Venezuela),

Let me reach, let me beach

On the shores of Tripoli (Libya).

Let me sail, let me sail,

Let me crash upon your shore,

Let me reach, let me beach

Far beyond the Yellow Sea (China).

From Bissau (Guinea-Bissau) to Palau (Philippines) - in the shade of Avalon (United Kingdom),

From Fiji (Fiji) to Tiree (Scotland, United Kingdom) and the Isles of Ebony (England, United Kingdom),

From Peru (Peru) to Cebu (Philippines) hear the power of Babylon (Mesopotamia),

From Bali (Indonesia) to Cali (Colombia) - far beneath the Coral Sea (Australia).

From the North to the South,

Ebudæ (Scotland, United Kingdom) into Khartoum (Sudan),

From the deep sea of Clouds (Mount Huangshan, China)

To the island of the moon (Lake Titicaca, Bolivia),

Carry me on the waves

To the lands I've never been,

Carry me on the waves

To the lands I've never seen.

We can sail, we can sail...

We can steer, we can near

With Rob Dickins (Warner executive producer) at the wheel,

We can sigh, say goodbye

Ross and his dependencies (Antarctica)

We can sail, we can sail...

And now you know. :funky:

That's cool! I've been meaning to Google all those names and find out what they are. B) How did you find all that out?

That's smart. I thought you had spent hours on Google searching. That's probably what I would have done, spent hours searching, and then happened across the Wikipedia page that already had them all.

:o Thanks David.

I thought the places where fictional. I wonder why there are no irish places.

Good question. I'd've thought she would have included a few Irish places too now come to think of it.
Well, I guess it's sort of a song about leaving on a journey to go see exotic places, and naturally you wouldn't want to travel back to your own country (which in Enya and Roma's case is Ireland). :D
