Yeah some absolutely great penalties up until Kepa absolutely skied it :lol: Good game though, thought we ran out of steam big time after 90 minutes and if it wasn't for Lukaku not being able to stay onside, think we'd have lost that in extra time. Chelsea are such a big cup team though - think they will be hard to beat in the other cups. Either way, great to win a trophy!

Yeah the penalty shoot out was the same as the infamous Europa League final of last season. It's very ironic that Tuchel brought Kepa on specifically for the penalty shoot out with a minute of extra time left. I watched the AFCON final a few weeks ago and thought Chelsea would have been better off leaving Mendy on the field as he made a big impact in the penalty shoot out for Senegal against Egypt. There were so many disallowed goals for offside that it probably would have taken a David Beckham style goal from the half-way line to officially count.
