I think it's a great way to celebrate, it builds up excitement and hype! I really liked the teasers that they've shared too!

I'd love to hope they do still speak, I saw jesy liking that fan edit of the four of them as a nice move!

 

Perrie & Jesy always seemed SO close, I wouldn't be surprised if they still get on well.

GH albums in the UK stick around for ages and the way the UK charts work 1 stream for Sweet Melody would count towards Confetti & GH, so they wouldn’t lose steam from Confetti either.

 

 

Well that's just stupid! It should only count as a stream for the GH when someone actively goes onto their artist page and streams the GH or whatever other album. Playlists and singles etc counting towards album sales is ridiculous.

Why would they make a decision last week to move up the single and make a decision now to not only push it back but change the single entirely? Weren’t we hearing they’d already filmed a video?

who knows - the lyrical content for "No" was a bit more.. harsher - however now everyone is looking at Little Mix for their babies, so releasing a song that isn't the most "positive vibe" probably would make the media side-eye them, especially as No dealt with topics such as their label (and apparently Jesy) so I think the goodwill needs to continue.

 

I just get things from a source so I haven't been given the whole thing - I'm not sure if the announcement was delayed or if the release date was delayed - *personally* I think they should just stick with No / their original plans. I guess we'll find out soon

It seems like they would’ve known their due dates and the single were close the whole time and if that really is the reason for switching, than I don’t know why they didn’t think of that ages ago. I guess we’ll see if anything happens in the coming weeks.

i think 365/Joe confirmed there was a video ready to go but wasn't sure if it was coming Thursday or what it was for.

 

Not sure about this though - that's gonna be the awkward part, having a video filmed so soon after the two have given birth - considering their last string of singles having the video attached its a bit of a step backwards but we'll see.

They switched around the order of the 'Confetti' single releases pretty last minute too. They were supposed to film the 'Holiday' video way before 'Break Up Song' was even considered right?

They were filming it before because they were filming it in Rio but covid happened, doesn't mean Holiday wouldn't be the second single, since they had the Break Up Song shoot scheduled in London shortly after returning from Brazil, which was also scrapped unfortunately.

 

I hope No is still the single and coming next week. A delay would be stupid, they should strike with a single while the iron's hot after the anniversary, album announcement etc
