To you maybe, I find it completely dull. Zzzz, sad girl r&b is the worst and ruining so many artists - Kehlani, Kiana Lede and JoJo when they all used to have so much personality. I don't know why this style of music is praised so much!
I'm struggling to find any hooks in the majority of their recent work (and melodies) but each to their own! It's just not for me.

I saw her live in 2017 and she was great but I don’t think I would want to see her sing her current material. I know it’s a minority opinion as everyone seems to really love it but I think the last two albums/EP have been so mundane.

No I completely agree, I absolutely LOVED "Mad Love" and think that's the direction and lane she should've stayed in and progressed with. Don't get me wrong she's had some good songs since. - Think About You, What U Need and Spiral SZN in particular, but this miserable sad r&b sound just isn't doing it for me.

righty, i saw the show last week at the Roundhouse and was SO disappointed.

The setlist was bad... like she picked the worst songs IMO from the two albums (and also her back catalogue too..). The audience were not feeling the newer stuff that's for sure

She did a verse and chorus of 'Marvin's Room', which was bizarre to not perform the whole thing.

It's a shame she skipped great album tracks like honest, small things, in the dark, lift, feel alright, breezy, coming for you, disaster.

saying that think about you went off..

i never thought i'd be disappointed by a jojo show in my life but i really was. i certainly don't want to go to a jojo show and think her biggest hits were highlights... i also don't know why she doesn't give 'beautiful girls' the same nod she gives 'marvins room'.

I thought she was amazing at Manchester!!! The set list was a good mix of the two albums plus the classics, and she had so much stage presence!

Say Love and Think About You were definitely the highlights.
