Posted August 21, 20213 yr Hi all! When this forum first started, I and some others were posting reviews for classic albums of the decade for a nostalgic look back on some of our favourite times. I’d like to bring these reviews back and that’s why we now have a request thread! Every weekend I will post an album review for a classic album but I need your help. Post any requests in here and I will choose from them and listen to that album. In that thread we can all share memories and opinions of that album. If you’d rather post your own review, go for it! Just let me know you’re doing it so we don’t end up reviewing the same thing. As for the definition of 2000s album, I’ve decided that it includes any album released between 1st January 2000 and 31st December 2009 but also any album that impacted in the 2000s in the UK. For example, White Ladder by David Gray was released in the 90s but I would accept this as it’s sales were mostly from 2000/1. This is a great opportunity for me and others to explore some great 2000s music we may have missed. I’m toying with a similar ideas for ‘flop’ albums, let me know what you think. I have collated all previous reviews in a pinned thread so you know what we’ve done. Feel free to comment in my of those if you missed them the first time! Get requesting!
