Posted August 28, 20213 yr Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information. If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder: SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios: 100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc) 600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc) ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios: 200 premium streams = 1 sale 1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR. The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. Hopefully he'll be able to fend off Drake for an 11th week and then debut at #1 with his next single when it goes on ACR on its 12th week instead then :D

August 28, 20213 yr this Freaks song could very well quietly become the longest running non top 60 (and potentially non top 50?) hit at this rate then if it ain’t already, given its back on SCR once again. seems to be very consistent and showing no signs of going anywhere either.

Drake's album's coming out on 3rd September, and Ed Sheeran's next big single is coming out on 10th September (so the week it debuts will be the same week Bad Habits goes on ACR). As much as I would like to see it, I doubt Remember will be challenging for #1 lol. Plus, there's the small fact that even if Bad Habits were on ACR, it'd still be ahead of Remember by 4,773 sales this week lol

Hopefully he'll be able to fend off Drake for an 11th week and then debut at #1 with his next single when it goes on ACR on its 12th week instead then :D Given Visiting Hours is in the Top 50 on Spotify and the Bad Habits remix isn't it my that he's actually costing himself by releasing VH in terms of keeping Bad Habits at the top for even longer. Stay is really streaming well now as well so could knock it off before it gets to ACR anyway. It looks like 12-13 weeks might be the absolute maximum anyone can hope for in the ACR era at Number 1. Shame, as just out of sheer geekery I'd love to see that Bryan Adams run beat by something. I can't see Stay overtaking tbh lol, Bad Habits was still 26k chart sales ahead this week and I really can't see that gap closing enough over the next 2 weeks for Stay to overtake before both go on ACR. I do very much hope that Bad Habits can get 11 weeks and then replace himself at the top though, that'd be absolutely amazing to see!

Noah Cyrus - July had 20 weeks with a peak of #66, not sure if that's the longest running non-Top 60, but Freaks needs 4 weeks to match that. Wonder if Traitor will be given a manual reset. I'd rather see one given to Shouse - Love Tonight
