The sexy star, who insisted on wearing a brown wig to help distance herself from the role, was keen to point out that it doesn't mean she’ll be shirking her responsibilities with the band – despite a lot of recent coverage which says otherwise. "The other girls have done magazine shoots," she told The Sun, "I just wanted to do something different. I only had to take three days out of our schedule to learn my lines and then a day to film it." Perhaps inspired by the girls' new heist style video, which can be seen on Overdrive by clicking here, Harding will be playing a sexy bit on the side in new gangsta Brit flick Runners With Cars. But the glam ends there, as she's set to take one hell of a beatin in the gritty movie, including being smacked full on in the face by her female boss. We're guessing, after their recent spat, the girls from All Saints will be in the front row for that one… Harding 'beaten up' for movie debut It seems that Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding is prepared to take a beating as part of her film debut. The 25-year-old blonde is appearing in gangster flick, Runners With Cars, where she plays a mistress. A source told the Daily Star: "The scene Sarah's filming next week is really nasty stuff. Sarah's character, Emma, gets really badly beaten up by a thug and is even smacked full in the face by his female boss." Despite her toned physique film bosses have advised the singer to go to the gym to prepare herself. Sarah has insisted this isn't the start of a new career for her. She commented recently: "It's not the end of Girls Aloud. I just wanted to do something different. "All the other girls have done OK! magazine shoots and I wanted to do my own thing.
