Well deserved Heat winner there!

Brilliant for Cornelia, I was thinking on first listen that it seems like something Sweden could potentially get behind in a big way. An underdog with a gorgeous radio friendly ballad that has a brooding electro build. Lovely song, and a great instant finalist.

Oh God, that was cringe even Zia looked so uncomfortable. I don't think I ever appreciated how much Björkman contributed to the contest but it's clear that the ones who took it over don't know the difference between camp and cringe.

Nope. He's going to host all shows. I'm guessing they're going to pull in a co-host for next week.

 

I really, really hope they get an entirely different host. Not being horrible or anything but he is effing useless. But the whole thing seems a bit clunky. MF is usually so polished and professional. Let's write the first one off..... things can only get better!

Melodifestivalen this year should have been Sweden just sending Eric Saade and it's just 6 weeks of new tracks and we vote for the best.

Now they're having trouble with mics echoing.

Is there no reprise anymore? I guess there can't be, as they can't fit two full performances into the 10 minutes remaining of the show. What a shame, considering the amount of padding and filler that's here.

This was a disaster but at least the app going down kept the twinks out.

App was down the entire evening. I'd assume the tweens had to choose between Omar or Theo since they had to actually phone in.

FO&O members underachieving against expectations once again!

Hallabaloo going further, wow! I guess a song of that ilk can never be ruled out!

 

My two favourite songs went to the final, and it's great that Cornelia won. I'm not at all fussed that Shirley, Malou and Omar crashed out, although quite surprising in the case of the latter.

 

The reprise is really missed though, I loved having the chance of getting to know the winning songs that bit better straight away.
