Ah yes Shape vs. Rise & Fall by Craig David in the same time period was an interesting little battle, but I think this one is always remembered more fondly. Quite a nice music video too.
It feels like a stigma that songs left toward the end of the album are weaker than the rest, and unfortunately that is the case for More Than A Million Miles, but it could have sounded much worse so there is that. A cool bit of rapping on there though, who was this by?
The switch up near the end of 'More Than A Million Miles' was a nice surprise. Cool bits in there but not sure it's one to return to (but I will when going over it again lol).
A six minute alternative version of Round Round completes our listenthrough, clearly popular at the time to warrant inclusion. A reminder of how well regarded this single was at the time.
Damn having to leave for work now. I’ll catch up on this properly tomorrow.
