It won't just be Albania deciding before 2022 this year!

 

Ceska Televize has confirmed to ESC Bubble that the Czech entry for Eurovision 2022 will be chosen in December. Eurovision Song CZ 2022 will once again be an online selection, however, instead of music videos, live performances of the competing entries will be voted on.

 

The performances will be recorded as live-on-tape, with the recordings being released in early December. The winner will be determined by 50% international jury, 25% international public vote, and 25% Czech public voting.

 

A jury is currently listening to all of the submissions that were received into the selection. They will inform the acts that have been selected to take part in the final of the selection by October 20th.

Basically, Jezinky gives the best chance for Czech Republic to qualify and is currently a fan favourite. RUNNIN' OUT OF F* TIME is also another decent choice given it's staged well and the performers have good presence. I am not too sure about the other songs as they will need something really special to qualify.

Domi, Annabelle or The Valentines for me, I find them the most catchy and Domi is quite interesting.

 

I don't get the hype around Giudi at all....for me that's the one that absolutely must not be chosen, the worst song here. It just goes nowhere.

I think We Are Domi, Annabelle or GIUDI would be among the best the Czechs have ever sent to the contest quality wise. Part of me wants to see them send Jezinsky as its such a risky choice I'd be genuinely interested to see where something like that comes but Lights Off/Running Out of F* Time would probably be safer bets.

My personal favourite is Jezinky but I have a feeling Emma & Jordan are most likely to win the selection

I don't mind this, but it does feel terribly generic - I certainly can't see it being high in my rankings next year.

Another minor revamp reveal, they've got a music video coming on the 18th March.
