I was very unsure about this being released as a single when I first heard it was going to be released. Its now grown on me loads and I can see why it has being released as a single, because like America, its very radio friendly and is also a decent track as well. I still don't know what to make of the video though.

Odd video, like the song though, although there are much better tracks on the album imo!
Definately the best follow-up to America on the album... video is slightly worrying, though

My problem with razorlight is that theyre becoming too overplayed, i am sick of hearing 'America' and that was only after hearing it a few times when Radio 1 playlisted it.

I like alot of their songs but their recent material, and this song, are beginning to get annoying, i mite listen to the album and see what that has to offer

Their best songs are Golden Touch and Somewhere else imo. This song is nowhere near as good as those two. -_-
They're a bit $h!t aren't they? Why did Razorlight become so dull and boring, they had character before, now -_- :(

Despite how much I go on about America it's nothing compared to how I reacted to Somewhere Else... seriously, if i'd have recorded weekly charts I can almost guarantee that 'Somewhere Else' would have been top of them for a good few months

Absolute anthem..still sounds as fresh today as it was when first released B)

Brilliant, brilliant song. Still need to buy my 3 formats though...

There are definitely better tracks on the album. I really didn't like this one untill I have heard it repeatedly on the radio. Now I love it :) (The power of airplay eh)

Good dong, but it's kinda weak and not the best choice for a single

I would have preferred Pop Song 2006, hopefully that can be the 4th

I also agree America is great, but nothing on Somewhere Else. I thought people would think SE is too poppy but it really is an anthem from them

i really like this song its a real grower but going by midweeks it aint going to be a top 10 hit which im surprised at

It should be Top 20 though. ;) Which is good for a third single and plus the album is liekly to pass the one million mark within a few weeks.

'Somewhere else' is definatly there best. It's very Boomtown Rats' but then again alot of their material is ;)

Fall to pieces deserved top 10 at least.. -_-

i'll agree totally with that. hate that record as they channel the vibes of travis so much  bought this single however.

agree with this too

  • 2 weeks later...

They are getting boring arnt they? I also wish Johnny would put a shirt on -> :o

They were okay when they were different but theres too many guitar bands just like them now, they are very run-of-the-mill... -_-
