well your missing some good film there!!! all apart from Climates (Directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan) have been mentioned and discussed in this area (i think) and ive seen them all except this one + red road (wanted to so much, but far too indie for cineworld)

Funny that, Cineworld in London's Haymarket is exactly the place I actually saw "Red Road".....

Hmm, wouldn't surprise me...

I might go and see "Eragon" just to see if it IS as lousy as I think it's gonna be....

Apparently the kid who wrote these books was only about 14 when he started and he basically just ripped off Tolkien....

Well for me it deps on whats running at what time. deja vu might be alright, then again grounded might be so awful that, like son of the mask and deck the halls it actually keeps me entertained

Does Hidden = Caché?

oui :)

D'accord! Then Hidden gets my vote :D Absolutely loved that film.

Haven't seen any. Only saw A c**k and Bull Story, Clerks 2 and Marie Antoinette this year. None made that list.

The Queen  I adore anything Helen Mirren is in ... but this was just amazing!!

Love,

Kirsty xx

well i suppose if there was a best soundtrack list MA would be on there. loads of critics saying how better the music was than the film

out of those, i've only seen Volver so voted for that, I wanted to see Pan's Labyrinth though but didn't get a chance :(

think it might get re-shown for the bbc world film awards in a month or two

The only one that I have seen is Pan's Labyrinth and that was good. I saw it with two friends of mine

and both said that it was totally different from what they expected but still a very good film. My sister

has seen The Departed, Pan's Labyrinth, and United 93. She said that the two first ones were very good

and United 93 ok.

From that list United 93.

Other terrific films I saw this year were A History Of Violence (though that may have been 2005 in the UK - I lose track), The Notorious Bette Page and Thank You For Smoking.

Pans Labyrinth is absolutely stunning... I can't weait for it to come out on DVD. Awesome.
