It looks like Kasabian aren't the only mid-2000s indie band making a return, Franz Ferdinand have been teasing a new single 'Don't Forget The Best Bits' with a preview that has appeared on Spotify under the band name 'The New Scottish Gentry'! Their last album was 2018's 'Always Ascending', and the upcoming one will be their first since the departure of original drummer Paul Thomson last month.

Unfortunately, it's not a new studio album! Greatest hits album 'Hits To The Head' is out on March 11th next year, with new song 'Billy Goodbye' out today. (though despite the song's title, they are not splitting up :lol:)

The other new release from this, 'Curious' came out yesterday! Pretty solid two singles I think, 'Billy Goodbye' was a big grower for me and this one is sounding quite instant! Hopefully it's not too long before we get a proper new album from them.
