As if Krystal did the last look in 30 minutes This series just ain’t the one - in fact it’s a severe step down Krystal is awful, Vanity might as well not be there, Scarlett should’ve gone 3 weeks ago. Kitty and Ella are ok… but Christ after 7 episodes… what is this? Also Ru and Michelle seem bored - I think they’re over doing so many seasons a year.
November 5, 20213 yr Vanity's lipsync was the best thing this season. This episode was better than the last one for me. Did make me laugh that River used the 'sad little life Jane' speech for her mirror message and none of them seemed to get the reference! Think they all did decently this episode. Hard to follow the judging. The prompt for all 3 looks was ugly but then they thought some of the looks were too ugly? ok Jan
November 5, 20213 yr I... am actually going to completely disagree with what's being said in here this week. Both me and my housemate thought it was the best episode of the series and it actually felt quite exciting throughout not knowing what was going to arrive next. It had touches of the unpredictability the Lip Sync Smackdown brought in All Stars 6, though I'm not going to pretend it reached those heights, but you know what I'm getting at. SO GLAD Kitty finally got her win, much deserved and should be her 2nd, and could easily be her 3rd by now. I think it's PROBABLY too late for a surge but I'm praying and hoping, she should at least definitely be a finalist now over Vanity I'd have thought? Speaking of Vanity, I can't believe she's made it to top 4 but I think that's probably the best lip sync of Drag Race UK? She absolutely BODIED 'Scandalous' in every way I could've hoped that song would've been delivered with. Alesha Dixon was a delight of a judge aswell, just seemed to love being there.
November 5, 20213 yr Yeah, me and my bf were howling at this episode. It was so much fun, loved it. Vanity was outstanding in that lip sync. Alesha was such a good guest judge too, she was so invested! This is a very weak top 4 though, isn’t it?
November 5, 20213 yr If you didn’t enjoy that episode I’m not sure Drag Race is for you! That was easily the best episode this series. I was sceptical at first about the challenge and the timers but the queens made it really enjoyable. Then a great lip sync as well. It was just a good fun episode throughout where some of the personalities could shine through.
November 5, 20213 yr I liked the episode but I think the problem is there's nobody I'm really rooting for now, none of the ones that are left have much likability, Ella and Kitty are the best but in the grand scheme they're just fine??? I can't stand Krystal and I hate the narrative they're pushing with her because she's simply just not as talented as they're making out. Sure she can pull a look together but what else??? I'm glad Scarlett finally went, vanity will be out soon tho as she is clearly the weakest of a completely average bunch :lol: Edited November 5, 20213 yr by Linds.
November 5, 20213 yr I loved the episode! It had me laughing throughout. I love how hectic things got with the time limit and loved the appearance of Charity Shop Sue. :lol: The queens were so funny and loved them shading each other. Dare I say the best episode of the season so far? I was so happy to see Kitty get her first win and her reaction was amazing. :lol: "Suck It Girls!". Loved her runways and her presentations so was happy to see her win. Ella and Krystal did great too! Vanity's last look was the best she's ever looked on the runway, stunning! Loved Scarlett's Chav look and cat lady swim suit. Vanity ATE that lip sync up - best of the season. I loved Alesha judging too and how excited/hyped up she was during the lip sync. November 5, 20213 yr It was indeed a fun episode, something we needed. Delighted Kitty finally had her win, well deserved! But Alesha was the real highlight, love her so much, she is such a fun and kind person and was an amazing judge. It honestly felt like the lip sync was between Vanity (who was fab!) and her instead of Scarlett.
November 5, 20213 yr 100% agree with Lindsey. None of them are as talented as they're making them out to be. They're decent, but why can't we (that is, the judges) just acclaim them for that instead of overblowing the praise and making out Kitty is the funniest queen to ever be on the show, Ella is better than Rose and Krystal is more fashionable than Aquaria? Nobody was saying Divina De Campo was better than Violet or that Bimini was funnier than Jinkx.
