The entries are now out and these seem to be the two favourites

 

 

 

"Sekret" is great even if it's not quite the biggest bop FiK has ever seen (though considering the 2020 contest didn't happen, I should probably stop crying over "Me tana" now).

 

"Theje" is fine, more in line with what we expect from Albania but I'd certainly be happy to see Alban in Turin.

Pretty sure it'll be Alban getting the nod and I could see that song doing about as well as Albania usually do in Turin.

Yes, his song is really strong and with proper stage could add a lot of drama.

 

Also Ronela is pretty wild on stage and she's done that kind of genre before and she does it great!!!

Could be the strongest Albanian national final in years :o I will have a listen to all the songs a few days later

Omgggg the drama in Triumfi i jetës :o I think this could be the one that might be slept on and do surprisingly well. Theje is overrated for me I'm afraid :( It appears the big names have flopped except for Ronela while there are pleasant surprises. Ronela seems like a clear frontrunner to me which means there is a good chance the result ends up like Me Tana :kink: There are some songs with highly questionable quality which makes me wonder how they even made the cut �� A lot of the songs sound quite dated sadly :( Also the new artists are quite good with some doing better than most of the established artists :kink:

Gut feeling is that Ronela has more of the momentum behind her BUT Festival i Kenges likes to throw "interesting" choices out there some times so who knows what'll take the win!

Ronela is my favourite but I adore Alban too. conflicted :(

Ronela song and staging seems too messy and it's worth mentioning that she won't be able to bring all these people on stage at eurovision

with that being said, I hope they send Alban :wub:

I want Ronela to represent Albania. After all, they have sent loads of ballads already and Sekret is such an upbeat ethnic banger!

Sekret needs a re-vamp.

Anxhela did better than Ronela for me when it comes to ethnic bangers and that didn’t do much!!!

 

Alban can surprise if they are willing to work on staging etc etc

I think this was probably the most ESC ready package they had and there's definitely something there for Albania to work with and refine to get above the usual 19th place or so for them.

Anyways super stoked that Sekret is the song to represent Albania! This is probably my most favourite Albanian entry since 2015 and the song is pretty much Eurovision ready. Obviously they need to shorten the song but the best part to cut it off would be to reduce the duration of buildup to the instrumental drop.
