November 12, 20213 yr Whilst there obviously not going to do outdo ABBA or Ed Sheeran, I wouldn't underestimate Idles, they've been blowing up these past few years. Top 5 seems remotely possible. Will be interesting to see how the Idles do, they opened with 27,182 with over 15k of vinyl sales of their last album just over a year ago - there doesn’t feel as much hype around the new album though? November 14, 20213 yr My predictions for this keep changing. A couple of weeks ago I was sure it would be Ed thinking he would still be on about 70k at this point, then I was thinking Rod, then ABBA after how well they continued to sell throughout last week, now I'm wondering if great streaming will help Taylor get there. I think for now I'm gonna go back to saying Rod - definitely the most interesting album chart for a while
November 15, 20213 yr My OG #1 prediction was ABBA and from the first midweeks I’m gonna stick. What I will now revise is the rest of the top 5! Gonna now say it’ll be Taylor at #2, Little Mix at #3 with Ed at #4 and finally Rod at #5. It’s gonna be close but I think ABBA will be the most stable seller through the week. Would really really love Taylor to get it though.
November 15, 20213 yr This is really hard. I think Taylor Swift, ABBA and Little Mix will occupy the top 3. I couldn't tell the order though. I still can't tell, but these three had every reason to be top 3.
