January 7, 20223 yr Author I'm just listening to 'Antidote'. The vocals sound very similar to Dermot Kennedy but I'm enjoying it more than anything I've heard from him. It feels like it has a bit more about it. The lead singer I think is from Belfast so I suppose that's why the vocals are similar (the band themselves are from Wakefield though!) Glad you're enjoying it - thanks Lewis! I'm just trying out Hot Air Balloon now, it's got a nice late-summer feeling! Hi Pete, Some really good choices here so far, and loads I need to add to my list of songs to check out! Love the orignal of that Miss Li song so I'll make a note to check out the remix. I really quite liked Zuzu's album, her scouse singing accent is very endearing. And good to see KT Tunstall make an appearance too. If you like the original you'll probably like the remix as they're very similar! I just came across the remix first. Good to see another Zuzu fan on here, her accent is fantastic isn't it. That'll likely be why it didn't do amazingly in the contest and why it wasn't among the host of Eurovision songs debuting in my Top 10. However it continued to intrigue me and so here it is as one of only two Eurovision songs to make my EOY Top 100. He's also probably the first artist from Suriname to make my Personal Chart!
