At this point I can't see him ever getting a hit, and I can't believe his record company are still letting him make music, by rights he should have been dropped long ago. He's released some bangers recently ('1 Day 2 Nights' would have smashed in an ideal world) but 'Talking To The Stars' is a bit shit really

He’s now released 25 singles (!!) and his biggest hit is the #62 smash ‘Personal’ - he also last troubled the Top 75 in 2018.

Fair play to him being firstly signed to Universal and now to BMG - he’s certainly getting money put behind him but with so many singles, and a last minute scrapped album I can’t see anything changing anytime soon?

Yeah I can’t see it ever happening. If it was going to it would’ve been 1 day 2 nights which was catchy and his post Strictly launch. But it didn’t.

This EP feels like a change of tact really, Talking to the Stars doesn't feel particularly hit-worthy to me (and it's possibly his weakest single to date) and I don't think an EP's really going to help get him out there anymore, but he's still obviously making some sort of income - he played two nights at the Palladium in October, one of which was sold out so he's not doing too badly for himself! I maintain cancelling the album was a pointless move and he could've actually scored a top 5 album if it came out as originally planned in summer 2020. The copies were already printed by the time of cancelled, I own both the standard and deluxe on CD and there's quite a few out there it seems, so they really can't have had any faith in it.

Doesn't help that Spotify were like "yup this guy's had a minor hit, we now don't need to support him ever again" after Personal
